According to the purification method, it can be further divided into the following categories:
  
1. Low temperature asymmetric plasma. The low-temperature asymmetric plasma module generates an asymmetric plasma electric field through high-voltage and high-frequency pulse discharge, causing a large amount of plasma in the air to collide with each other step by step. Generating electrochemical reactions to rapidly degrade toxic and harmful gases, as well as live viruses, bacteria, etc., thereby killing viruses, sterilizing, removing odors, eliminating smoke, and dust, without producing toxic substances, is known as the most anticipated high-tech in environmental and health science in the 21st century. Can coexist with humans and machines, purify without the need for personnel to leave; Energy conservation and consumption reduction can save 80% of electricity compared to the same period last year; Lifetime free from disassembly and washing. It has the function of quickly disinfection and sterilization virus, * purifying, removing odor, eliminating static electricity, increasing oxygen content, etc.
  
2. Chemical agents. The main product is air freshener (automotive perfume), which is cheap, but can only cover up some peculiar smell, and complex chemical reactions occur under the action of sunlight, becoming a new pollution in the car, and can not eliminate harmful gases at all.
  
3. Chemical decomposition. The main working principle is an ionizer ozone generator, which is inexpensive and has more functions than a freshener. It can increase the number of negative ions in the air and reduce solid dust in the air. It has a sterilizing effect but has little effect on decomposing harmful gases such as formaldehyde. Ozone generators produce a large amount of high concentration ozone, which can kill some viruses and bacteria while also potentially killing human white blood cells, leading to the possibility of cancer. Negative ions can easily adsorb dust and adhere to the interior walls and ceilings of the car, causing the interior, especially light colored cars, to gradually turn gray black.
  
4. Adsorption and volatilization. [1] It is a purifier that uses Chinese herbal medicine as a medium, with a low price and certain antibacterial function. However, Chinese herbal medicine basically does not have a purifying effect in solid state. The purifier uses only trace amounts of Chinese herbal ingredients, which not only cannot kill bacteria but also easily become a breeding ground for bacteria when saturated. The replaced filter element involves difficulties in harmless treatment.
  
5. Adsorption. Activated carbon filters can adsorb a certain amount of bacteria, dust, and harmful gases in a short period of time. They are inexpensive and can filter a certain amount of bacteria and dust with adsorption function, but without selective adsorption. The adsorption rate for water is 45%, and it usually reaches saturation after one month and needs to be replaced. Cannot be recycled. After reaching saturation, it not only cannot kill bacteria but also easily becomes a breeding ground for bacteria. The replaced filter element also involves difficulties in harmless treatment.
  
6. Multi layer filtration. It is mainly a composite purifier with good filtering effect, which can significantly reduce solid dust in the air. However, the price is high, and the filtering device needs to be replaced after a period of use, which cannot be regenerated and has little effect on harmful gases. There are many consumables and high usage costs. The replaced filter element involves difficulties in harmless treatment.
  
7. Catalysis and decomposition. Mainly photocatalyst purifiers, which can decompose some harmful gases and have a relatively low price, but currently photocatalysts are still in the experimental stage and the technology is not yet mature. Photocatalysts must rely on the irradiation of ultraviolet light in the sun to produce their effects. Using ultraviolet lamps is easy to damage, and replacement is frequent. At the same time, ultraviolet light is harmful to the human body and plastics.
  
8. Filter and adsorb. Mainly using hydrophobic crystalline silica molecular sieve as the filtering medium. The effect is obvious. It can remove various harmful gases such as benzene, xylene, and trichloromethane, and does not adsorb water and air. It can effectively adsorb multiple harmful gases with a large adsorption capacity, and can be used for one and a half years after regeneration. The filter material can be desorbed and regenerated using a simple method without generating new sources of pollution. The material has a lifespan of up to ten years and therefore has extremely low maintenance costs. It has little effect on reducing solid dust in the air and is more expensive than other disposable products.
