Maintenance methods for air purifiers:
Air purifiers, like water purifiers, require regular cleaning, and some may need to replace filters, filters, etc. to maintain their purification effect. The maintenance and upkeep of air purifiers depend on different brands and types of air purifiers.
1、 Filter type purifier:
1. If the front filter (usually the back cover of the chassis) is used for a long time, it will accumulate some dust, which will affect the air intake and the effectiveness of air purification. So, it is necessary to use a vacuum cleaner to remove the dust, or clean it with a cloth, or even wash it with water.
2. Filter screens, some of which require regular exposure to sunlight to maintain their purification efficiency, such as activated carbon filters.
3. Deodorizing filters, used in a few brands of air purifiers, can achieve a washable technical level by maintaining purification efficiency and extending the filter replacement cycle through water washing.
4. Ionic generators are generally built-in and do not require cleaning. Good ion generators have higher working efficiency.
The dedusting filter or dust collecting electrode plate in the air purifier should be cleaned frequently, usually once a week. The foam plastic or electrode plate should be cleaned and dried with soap solution before use, so as to keep the air flow unobstructed and clean. When there is a lot of dust accumulation on the fan and electrode, it should be removed and generally maintained every six months. Use a long haired brush to remove dust from each electrode and wind blade. When the air purifier is not in use, it should be cleaned and placed in a packaging box, stored in a ventilated and dry place. Normally, attention should be paid to moisture prevention to avoid reducing efficiency or damage due to moisture.
2、 Electrostatic purifier
Generally, only the static electricity module or dust collection module needs to be cleaned, and the method is simple. Wipe with a brush or cloth, or rinse in clean water and air dry.
