Control method for verticality in pile drilling

Grouting pile hole detection is a commonly used foundation method for bridge structures, which has been widely used in engineering due to its high construction efficiency, large bearing capacity, and wide applicability. The drilling of cast-in-place piles is usually completed underground, so the quality is difficult to control, especially for ultra long drilled piles. 1. Choose a drilling rig

Reasonably select the drilling rig based on the geological conditions of the pile location. During construction, two different types of drilling rigs can be used: one is a lightweight drilling rig with fast rotation speed of drill rods and high torque during drilling. One type is a heavy-duty drilling rig that can add counterweights at the drill bit for smoother drilling.

2. Control of verticality

The loose connection of drill rods can cause small angular deviations between them during drilling due to high drilling resistance, resulting in a deviation angle between the drill rods and the vertical direction, thereby causing a deviation in the verticality of the drilled pile. To solve this problem. Generally, when drilling to a depth of one drill rod, the verticality of the grinding disc and the connection of the drill rod should be checked once. It is necessary to inspect each bolt to ensure the levelness of the grinding disc during drilling.
