Structural composition and safety design points of built-in water tank self-cleaning sterilizer
Date: 2025-12-13Read: 34
The built-in water tank self-cleaning and disinfecting device is a specialized equipment directly installed inside the water storage tank, which achieves water quality purification and disinfection through physical, chemical or composite technologies. Its core function is to inhibit the growth of bacteria and algae in the water tank, degrade organic matter in the water, prevent water pollution during the secondary water supply process, and ensure that the terminal water meets national standards.

Built in water tank self-cleaning sterilizerTechnical principle:
1. UV disinfection technology: Using ultraviolet light with a wavelength of 253.7nm to destroy the DNA molecular structure of bacteria, viruses, and other microorganisms, causing them to lose their reproductive ability and achieve sterilization and disinfection effects. Built in devices typically use high-intensity ultraviolet light tubes, paired with quartz sleeves for protection, to ensure ultraviolet penetration rate, sterilization rate can reach over 99.9%, and there is no chemical residue, which does not affect water quality and taste.
2. Ozone disinfection technology: Ozone (O3) is generated through an ozone generator, which has strong oxidizing properties and can quickly decompose organic matter and odorous substances in water, while killing bacteria, viruses, algae and other microorganisms. The built-in device evenly disperses ozone in the water through an aeration device, and decomposes it into oxygen after reaction, without secondary pollution. It is suitable for scenarios with high requirements for water quality and taste.
3. Electrolytic disinfection technology: Using salt (NaCl) or existing chloride ions in water as raw materials, strong oxidizing disinfectants such as hypochlorous acid (HClO) are produced through electrolysis devices to achieve sterilization and disinfection. This technology does not require additional chemical agents, has low operating costs, and can continuously inhibit bacterial growth, making it suitable for long-term operation of secondary water supply systems.
4. Composite disinfection technology: Combining two or more disinfection methods (such as ultraviolet+ozone, electrolysis+ultraviolet) to achieve synergistic effects, ensuring rapid sterilization and long-term inhibition of microbial growth. It is suitable for scenarios with complex water quality and high pollution risks.
Structural composition:
1. Disinfection module: The core functional components, such as ultraviolet lamps, ozone generators, electrolysis electrodes, etc., are configured according to the technical type and usually adopt modular design for easy replacement and maintenance.
2. Installation of fixed devices: including brackets, flanges, etc., suitable for different sizes of water tanks (commonly suitable for volumes of 5m ³ -500m ³), installation methods can be divided into top installation and side installation to meet the structural requirements of different water tanks.
3. Control system: Integrated with timers, sensors (such as water level sensors and water quality sensors), and fault alarm devices, it can achieve automatic start stop, operation status monitoring, fault warning and other functions. Some products support remote control for easy operation and maintenance management.
4. Protective shell: Made of 304 stainless steel or food grade engineering plastic, waterproof grade reaches IP68, corrosion resistance and anti-aging, ensuring safe operation in humid environment, and meeting the safety requirements of materials used for food contact.
Key safety design points for built-in water tank self-cleaning sterilizer:
1. Electrical safety: Designed with anti leakage protection, overload protection, overvoltage protection, etc., in compliance with electrical safety standards, to avoid safety accidents caused by electrical faults.
2. Water quality safety: The disinfection process produces no toxic or harmful substances, and there are no chemical residues from technologies such as ultraviolet radiation and ozone. The disinfection products produced by electrolysis technology meet the hygiene requirements of drinking water, ensuring that the water quality meets safety standards.
3. Structural safety: The shell is designed to withstand pressure and impact, and is firmly installed and fixed to prevent equipment from falling off or being damaged, while avoiding any impact on the water tank structure.
4. Emergency protection: equipped with automatic shutdown function when the water level is too low, to prevent the disinfection module from dry burning and damage; When the ultraviolet lamp tube malfunctions, it will automatically sound an alarm and remind to replace it in a timely manner to ensure uninterrupted disinfection effect.
