Recently, the 26th China Environmental Protection Expo, jointly hosted by the Chinese Society of Environmental Sciences, the All China Federation of Environmental Service Industry Chambers of Commerce, Munich Expo Group, and China International Trade Munich Exhibition (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., opened at the Shanghai New International Expo Center. At the meeting, Wu Jianyang, Chairman of Guangdong Qinglv Environmental Technology Co., Ltd., accepted an exclusive interview with China Environment News.

China Environment News: Your company's booth has attracted many visitors. As a company specializing in the solid waste resource sorting market, what high-tech equipment will be showcased at the Shanghai Environmental Expo?
Wu Jianyang:We have specially built a mini solid waste intelligent sorting system for this exhibitionThe selected demonstration production line includes core equipment such as a 3D sorting machine and two AI intelligent sorting robots. The audience can intuitively understand how these devices efficiently identify and accurately sort various recyclable materials, truly achieving "equipment simplification, efficient effect, and low-carbon operation".
Among them, the 3D sorting machine is the core link of the sorting system, which can accurately screen mixed garbage into lightweight 2D materials (such as plastic films, textiles), heavy 3D materials (such as stones, glass, hard plastics, etc.), and fine particles (such as sediment) based on the shape, volume, and specific gravity of the materials. Its daily processing capacity exceeds 1000 tons.

More importantly, our new generation production line has the advantages of high integration and low energy consumption. For example, the overall power of the 3D sorting machine is only 11kW, and when combined with AI robots, it can basically achieve unmanned operation throughout the entire line. Each robot can replace 3 to 4 manual workers, improve sorting efficiency by more than 40%, and increase the purity of recyclable materials by about 15%, significantly increasing resource utilization benefits.
At present, Qinglv Environment has formed mature systematic solutions in six major areas including construction and decoration waste, recyclables, mixed household waste, stale waste, industrial solid waste, and paper mill waste, helping customers achieve precise and efficient resource recovery and value conversion with lower equipment investment and less manpower consumption.
China Environment News: This year's government work report clearly states that we will work together to promote carbon reduction, pollution reduction, and green growth. What do you think is the biggest pain point and difficulty in strengthening the level of waste recycling at present? What is the reason?
Wu Jianyang:Waste recycling is a systematic project that covers the entire chain from front-end classification and recycling to end of pipe resource regeneration. To truly achieve sustainable development, every aspect needs to have economic feasibility, rather than relying solely on government subsidies.
A core challenge currently facing the industry is the significant differences in the composition of household waste in different regions, which leads to weak adaptability of equipment in practical applications and deviations in processing efficiency from expectations. This reflects that the intelligence and flexibility of current equipment in dealing with complex and diverse waste still need to be strengthened.
At the same time, with the advancement of the "dual carbon" target, many projects that were originally focused on engineering constructioninvestmentEnterprises have entered the intelligent sorting track. However, intelligent sorting involves deep collaboration between AI recognition, control algorithms, and equipment manufacturing, which cannot be achieved overnight. Wu Jianyang:“The "dual carbon" goal has become a global consensus, and the value of solid waste resource utilization is increasingly prominent.
