Fault:

1. The water pump does not absorb water, and the pointers of the pressure gauge and vacuum gauge jump violently

Cause: a. Insufficient water injection into the water pump. Solution: a. Inject water into the water pump again

Cause: b. Leakage in the inlet pipe and instrument. Troubleshooting method: b. Tighten and block the leakage area

2. The water pump does not absorb water, and the vacuum gauge shows high vacuum

Cause: a. Bottom valve not open or blocked. Solution: a. Leveling or replacing the bottom valve

Cause: b. Excessive resistance in the suction pipe. Exclusion method: b. Cleaning or replacing the suction pipe
Cause: c. Excessive water absorption height. Solution: c. Reduce water absorption height

3. The pressure gauge has pressure, but the water pump still does not produce water

Cause: a. Excessive resistance in the water outlet pipe. Solution: a. Cleaning or shortening the water pipe

4. Flow rate below design requirements

5. The power consumption of the water pump is too high

Cause: a. The packing gland is too tight, and the packing box heats up. Solution: a. Loosen the packing gland

Cause: b. Friction between impeller and sealing ring. Elimination method: b. Eliminating mechanical friction
Cause: c. Excessive flow. Solution: c. Turn down the outlet valve

6. The internal sound of the water pump is abnormal, and the water pump cannot suction water

Cause: a. Excessive resistance inside the suction pipe. Solution: a. Reduce the suction height and shorten the length of the suction pipe

7. Pump vibration

Cause: b. The pump shaft and motor are not on the same centerline. Exclusion method: b. Check the coaxiality of the water pump and motor
Cause: c. Loosening of foundation bolts. Solution: c. Tightening foundation bolts

8. Bearing overheating

Causes: a. Insufficient or excessive lubricating oil, or deterioration. Elimination methods: a. Check the oil level, clean the bearings, and replace the oil

Cause: B. The water pump and motor shaft are not concentric. Exclusion method: B. Align the shaft centerline
