During the use of the filter press pump, there may be occasional situations where the pressure cannot be applied or is insufficient. This can result in insufficient material filtration and high water mixing rate in the filter press chamber, as well as affecting the pressing speed and increasing the pressing time. The cause and solution of such problems should be identified in a timely manner to avoid affecting production efficiency. Based on years of experience analysis, the reasons for insufficient pressure or inability to apply pressure to the filter press pump should be found from the following aspects:
1、 Firstly, the working condition should be checked. As the pressure filtration equipment is a complete system, it operates in a closed environment, and any pressure relief in a certain link can cause insufficient system pressure. The inspection items mainly include whether the filter cloth has holes and whether the hydraulic system leaks oil. Is there any material leakage at the sealing point.
2、 Next, it is necessary to check the pipelines and gate valves, including the feed pipeline gate valve and the feed and discharge gate valves of the filter press pump, mainly to check whether the pipelines are damaged, whether the gate valves are open, and whether there are leaks.
3、 Check the working condition for blockages, which can cause insufficient flow and slow flow rate, thereby affecting pressure and feeding. In addition, for newly installed pumps, it is necessary to check whether the speed is too low and whether the motor power is too low, both of which can cause this phenomenon; For pumps that encounter problems during normal use. The power and speed are generally not a problem, but it is necessary to check whether the impeller is severely worn and whether there is any leakage in the pump seal.
4、 After finding the problem, it should be resolved in a timely manner. If the situation of insufficient pressure and inability to apply pressure occurs again, further investigation should be carried out to determine whether there are multiple leakage points or multiple causes of this situation.
