Sodium ion exchangerInstallation precautions
1. Installed on a solid horizontal ground with nearby drainage ditches or outlets, the drainage pipe is less than 6 meters and lower than the valve body.

2. There should be a separate moisture-proof power socket within 1 meter of the device.
3. The placement of the recycled salt tank should be as close as possible to the resin tank to fully utilize the salt solution. The salt tank should have a guaranteed amount of salt for the regeneration cycle.
4. All import and export pipelines must have independent supports and cannot be supported by valve bodies.
5. A pressure gauge, filter, and vent valve should be installed at the inlet, and a flow meter should be installed at the outlet.

1、 Debugging standard process
General requirements for installation

① The inlet pressure should be between 0.2-0.5MPa. When the water source pressure cannot meet the requirements, a booster pump can be installed to increase the inlet pressure. If the pressure is too high, a pressure reducing valve should be installed to control the inlet pressure.

② The inlet water temperature should be between 5-45 ℃, and the power supply should be AC 200V/50Hz.

③ The water softener should be installed on a sturdy platform with unobstructed drainage nearby and sufficient space for operation and maintenance.

④ The working environment temperature should be between 5-50 ℃, and the relative humidity should be ≤ 95% (at 5 ℃).


2、 Pipeline connection requirements
① The pipeline connected to the water softener should use plastic water supply pipes, and soft plastic pipes should not be used for drainage pipes to prevent deformation of the pipeline and affect the drainage effect.

② Connect the inlet and outlet pipes according to the arrow markings of the control valve, and use a flow type regeneration controller. The flow meter must be installed at the outlet.

③ The inlet and outlet pipes should be equipped with pressure gauges and manual valves, as well as bypass valves. A sampling valve should also be installed before the outlet pipe valve. A Y-shaped filter is usually installed after the inlet pipe valve to prevent the valve body from being blocked by dirt in the pipeline, which may cause the equipment to malfunction.

④ The connection length of the drainage pipe should not exceed 6m, and bending should be minimized as much as possible. It is strictly prohibited to install valves.

⑤ The length of the saltwater pipeline connection should not exceed 2 meters, and good sealing must be maintained, otherwise it will affect the regeneration effect of the water softener.

3、 Equipment water supply
After soaking the resin in a 10% salt solution for 18-20 hours to fully expand, the equipment can be watered.
1. First, close the inlet and outlet valves, open the bypass valve, flush out the impurities in the pipeline, and then close the bypass valve.

2. Confirm the electrical parameters and power supply of the water softener * (note: the input voltage of the SE type regeneration controller is AC 12V/50Hz, so a transformer with input AC 220V/50Hz and output AC 12V/50Hz should be selected), and then connect the power supply. Manually start the regeneration controller, adjust the control valve to the backwash state, slowly open the inlet valve to the 1/4 open position, and at this time, you can hear the sound of air being discharged from the drainage pipe. After the air is completely discharged, open all the inlet valves to wash away some impurities in the resin until clear water is discharged from the drainage pipe.

3. Adjust the control valve to the positive wash position until the effluent is qualified.

4. Adjust the control valve to the water injection position of the salt tank, inject the designed amount of water into the salt tank, and then add solid salt particles for operation and debugging.
