Made of polytetrafluoroethylene resin, which is pressed and sintered using molds, it has excellent corrosion resistance, good self-lubricating properties, and non adhesive properties, making it almost resistant to all chemical media. It also has characteristics such as wear resistance, pressure resistance, and low friction coefficient. Widely used for flange sealing of pipelines, pumps, valves and other equipment in corrosive media such as petroleum, chemical, metallurgical, machinery, food, and electricity. In fact, for expanded PTFE gaskets, they are mainly made of 100% pure PTFE with isotropic fiber structure and plate-shaped sealing gaskets.

While maintaining excellent properties such as heat resistance, chemical resistance, and viscosity resistance, PTFE also has excellent resistance to creep, cold flow, and stress relaxation, and can extend the service life of thermal cycles, thereby achieving an increase in the service life of gaskets. A good compression rebound performance can be used in stress sensitive connections, and it is not affected by microorganisms and fungi. The special production process ensures that the longitudinal and transverse tensile strengths are basically the same, which makes the width of the material unchanged after compression, unlike expanded PTFE tape.

Due to this special property, expanded PTFE gaskets are more suitable for narrow sealing surfaces and sealing devices that require gasket width. Expanded PTFE gasket has PTFE gasket, but it does not have creep and cold flow problems. The sealing performance of expanded PTFE gasket is not only very reliable, but also has sealing, high temperature resistance, burst resistance, etc. Therefore, it is superior to other PTFE plate-shaped gaskets.

The expanded PTFE gasket itself is an ideal choice under flange conditions due to its relatively stable size and good compliance. It can not only conform to rough surfaces, but also be compressed into tight gaskets, making the seal tighter and more durable.
