Introduction:submersible mixerAlso known as submersible thrusters, they are used in the process flow of sewage treatment plants to promote the mixing of suspended solids in sewage, slurry, industrial process liquids, etc., create water flow, enhance mixing function, and prevent sludge sedimentation. They are important equipment in municipal and industrial sewage treatment process flow: divided into mixed submersible mixers and submersible propulsion mixers.
Equipment performance requirements
a. The mixer manufacturer must select the mixer based on the data in the bidding document and fully consider the tank type, quality concentration, and other conditions of each reaction tank. And provide a selection and thrust configuration table for the mixer, which should be able to adjust the angle as needed after installation.
b. The mixer provided must have sufficient thrust. Each submersible mixer should be able to work in the sewage of the installed pool, and must be able to promote the flow of sewage and fully mix and blend the sewage.
c. The submersible mixer should be able to operate continuously, intermittently, and resume operation 24 hours a day under full immersion conditions of the motor, and must remain stable throughout the entire operation process, with a minimum operating time of 20000 hours.
Equipment structure requirements
The mixer should be able to be lifted and lowered, and should be easily removed for inspection or service without the need for personnel to enter the pool or well. The mixer should have a sliding guide rod bracket as an integral part of it.
The entire weight of the mixer should be supported by a bracket that can withstand all the thrust caused by the mixer. The mixer, its accessories, and cables should be able to be continuously submerged in water at a maximum depth of 20 meters without losing their water tightness.
a. Shell
The main material of the agitator housing should be stainless steel AISI304. All nuts, screws, and washers shall be made of AISI304 stainless steel or better material.
b. Cable entrance sealing
The cable entrance should be a component of the stator compartment. The cable inlet should have a cylindrical elastic sleeve, with a washer and a sleeve on the side of the sleeve. The design of both should have precise tolerances to match the outer diameter of the cable and the inner diameter of the inlet. Epoxy resin, silicone or other secondary sealing systems should not be accepted.
c. Motor
The type of motor should be a squirrel cage induction motor with a rated working voltage of three-phase 380VAC and a rated working frequency of 50HZ. Under the operating conditions required by the equipment performance parameter table, the motor must be able to output sufficient torque to enable the water pump to operate normally. The motor should allow a voltage deviation range of ± 10% (using a gearbox for variable speed will not be accepted). A performance chart should be provided that can display torque, current, power factor, input/output power, and efficiency. The performance chart also includes data on startup and no-load characteristics. The performance curve of the motor should provide torque curve, current, power factor, input-output power, and efficiency. This curve should also include characteristic data during no-load start-up.
