Classification of grilles

  HBzhan Content Introduction: In drainage engineering,grilleIt is used to remove larger suspended solids that may clog the water pump unit and pipeline valves, and ensure the normal operation of subsequent treatment facilities. It is composed of a set (or multiple sets) of parallel metal bars and frames, which are installed obliquely in the inlet channel or at the inlet of the collection well of the inlet pump station to intercept large suspended solids and impurities in the sewage.

Classification of grilles
  
1) Arm type grille machine
  
Arm type grid cleaning machine, which can move and clean dirt on a fixed track, is mainly suitable for large and medium-sized rainwater and sewage pump stations and urban flood control pump stations, and can be suitable for pool depths of about 10 meters. The grille is made of flat steel, and the net clearance between the bars is generally 50-100mm. The total width can be selected within the range of 5-30m according to the inflow rate.
  
2) High chain grille cleaning machine
  
It consists of a transmission device, frame, cleaning rake, skimming mechanism, synchronous chain, grating, etc. There is a chain running synchronously on both sides of the machine. When the chain is driven by the driving device on the upper part of the cleaning machine, the rake frame is constrained by the hinge point of the chain and the guide rail to move in a plane. When the rake plate moves to the slag removal port, the slag removal device scrapes the dirt on the rake plate to the slag removal port under the action of gravity
  
This machine is suitable for pumping stations with a water depth of no more than 2 meters, such as sewage or rainwater, as well as sewage treatment plants, to remove coarse floating objects in sewage, protect subsequent processes, and reduce loads.
  
The cleaning machine is a chain driven fixed structure, with all transmission components submerged in water, providing good corrosion resistance and easy maintenance.
  
3) Rope type grid cleaning machine
  
This type of grille is suitable for rainwater and sewage treatment plants or sewage treatment plants, used to remove coarse suspended solids or floating objects in water, and in deeper decontamination wells.
  
4) Rotary grille cleaning machine
  
This type of grille is currently the most commonly used in the sewage treatment industry. Its performance characteristics are as follows:
  
Rotary mechanical grille is a continuous cleaning device that integrates a trash rack and a cleaning machine. Based on the trash rack, the cleaning rake is driven by a rotating chain around the rack to achieve the purpose of intercepting and cleaning.
  
Components: Trash rack body, rotary rake, drive transmission mechanism, overload protection mechanism, stainless steel traction chain, etc.
  
Design basis: The mechanical grille of the rotary cleaning machine is different from the cleaning machinery commonly used in the environmental protection industry. Its design parameters such as water head, flow rate, body strength, rigidity, welding technical conditions, safety factor, etc. are much higher than the cleaning machinery standards in the environmental protection industry. The design of its trash rack body refers to the requirements for trash racks in the Ministry of Electric Power standard DL/T5018-2004 "Specification for Manufacturing, Installation and Acceptance of Steel Gates in Water Resources and Hydropower Engineering"; The design of its cleaning device refers to the requirements for rotary cleaning machines in the Ministry of Water Resources standard SL382-2007 "Forms, Basic Parameters, and Technical Conditions for Cleaning Machines in Water Resources and Hydropower Engineering"; The welding requirements for its grid body shall be carried out in accordance with the standard SL36-2006 "General Technical Conditions for Welding of Hydraulic Metal Structures" of the Ministry of Water Resources; The anti-corrosion treatment of the body shall be carried out in accordance with the standard SL105-2007 "Corrosion Protection Specification for Hydraulic Metal Structures" of the Ministry of Hydraulic Engineering.
  
Performance characteristics: It can achieve continuous cleaning and cleaning of the entire water flow section. Every 2 meters, there is a toothed rake with a linear speed of 6 meters per minute, resulting in high cleaning efficiency. The grating beam is supported on a concrete foundation, ensuring smooth and reliable operation of the cleaning machine. Insert the toothed rake into the grid bar to a certain depth, carry the dirt attached to the grid bar to the top of the cleaning machine, complete the flipping and unloading action, and keep the water passing section clean and free of dirt. The traction chain is generally made of all stainless steel material to ensure that underwater work is rust free and maintenance free. The anti-corrosion solution includes sandblasting rust removal, epoxy zinc rich primer, chlorinated rubber intermediate paint, and chlorinated rubber topcoat sealing, with a protection capacity generally required to be over 15 years.
