The working principle of the wire rope traction grid cleaning machine is actually quite intuitive. The core is to remove solid impurities from the water through the traction of the wire rope and the opening and closing action of the rake bucket. The entire process can be divided into several key steps:
1、 Equipment composition
It mainly consists of these parts:
Rack: Supports the entire equipment and is fixed at the upper end of the wellhead.
Steel rope drive and over torque protection device: controls the release and retraction of the steel wire rope, and automatically alarms and stops when encountering obstacles.
Scraper opening and closing device: The opening and closing of the scraper is controlled by an electric push rod.
Scraper bucket, grid bar, guide rail and slag plate: The scraper bucket is responsible for removing slag, the grid bar intercepts impurities, and the guide rail and slag plate guide and support.
2、 Work cycle process
Scraper bucket descending: The steel rope drive device releases the rope, and the scraper bucket descends along the guide rail, causing the scraper plate to descend accordingly.
Opening the scraper bucket: After reaching the bottom of the canal, the electric push rod pushes the middle steel rope to open the scraper bucket and continue to descend.
Rake bucket closure: The rake bucket closes under its own weight, and the rake teeth are inserted into the gap of the grille.
Scraper bucket up: The steel rope drive device collects the rope, and the scraper bucket rises along the guide rail to clean the debris.
Unloading: The scraper bucket rises to the unloading port, and the cleaning scraper scrapes the debris into the conveyor or garbage truck, completing one cycle.

4、 Application examples
It is mainly used in urban sewage treatment, water treatment plants, power plant inlets, etc. It can intercept and clean floating debris and sediment in the water, and protect the impeller of the water pump.
