Detailed introduction of the correct installation methods for each component of the screw conveyor

When installing a screw conveyor, it is necessary to strictly follow the correct installation method. This article will provide a detailed introduction to the correct installation of various components of a screw conveyor.
① Firstly, according to the position of the equipment, the "cross" line of the screw conveyor groove is measured and set out. Then, based on this center position, the position of the foundation bolt holes (or embedded bolts) of the groove support is checked. After confirming that the error meets the installation requirements (including horizontal dimensions, vertical dimensions, diagonal line dimensions, specifications and lengths of embedded bolts), the next step of work is carried out.
② Install the machine slot. The groove of the screw conveyor is a segmented structure, and the segments are connected by flanges. When installing the machine slot, the machine slot bracket can be temporarily fixed with embedded bolts or embedded steel plates, and the machine slot can be integrated. After overall leveling and alignment, it can be fixed with embedded bolts or embedded steel plates. To ensure the straightness of the total length, appropriate rubber pads or other materials can be used to adjust between the slot flanges. After installation, the flange surfaces of adjacent casings should be connected smoothly and tightly, and the displacement deviation of the inner surface of the casing should not exceed 1.4mm.
③ Install the first and last bearing seats, middle bearing seat, and spiral drum. The first and last bearing seats are separate structures from the machine body. The first and last bearing seats, as well as the middle bearing seat, must be temporarily fixed until the spiral drum is installed, leveled, and aligned before fixing the bearing seat. If the spiral shaft is a middle disconnect structure, it must be ensured that the centerline of the spiral shaft is strictly consistent after installation. The suspended bearings of the screw machine should be reliably fixed on the casing lifting ears. After connecting with adjacent screws, the rotation of the screws should be uniform. During installation, adjusting shims can be added between the suspended bearing support and the casing lifting ears. In addition, it is necessary to ensure that the parallelism error of the two spiral axes does not exceed 0.5/1000, and the total length error does not exceed 3mm.
④ Install the transmission device frame, reducer, and motor. Firstly, use the leveled centerline of the spiral shaft as a reference to verify the arrangement position and height of the foundation bolts of the drive device frame. Then, install the drive device frame, level and align it with shims, and securely fix it with foundation bolts. During this process, it is necessary to note that the center height of the drive device frame should be slightly lower than the center height of the spiral shaft centerline by 1-2mm, leaving room for adjustment during the installation of the reducer. After installation, the output shaft of the reducer must be strictly aligned and kept consistent with the centerline of the screw shaft. The clearance and coaxiality deviation range of each coupling should meet relevant requirements.
⑤ Cleaning and oiling of equipment. Clean the rolling bearings, reducers and other equipment, and then inject the equipment.
