Design principles for waste gas treatment equipment in the chemical industry

The design of waste gas treatment equipment in the chemical industry should not only ensure technology, but also achieve cost-effectiveness from the perspective of users. So we have to consider the following factors.

1、 Operating conditions of exhaust gas treatment equipment
Design a safe and reliable exhaust gas treatment device based on the properties of the exhaust gas, such as viscosity, temperature, humidity, pressure, flammability, toxicity, stability, and gas type;
2、 Efficiency of waste gas treatment meeting standards
According to the emission standards issued by the state and the concentration of exhaust gas emitted by pollution sources, the selected equipment type requires multiple devices for multi-stage treatment if one device cannot meet the requirements;
3、 Economic viability
The main consideration is the manufacturing, installation, operation, and maintenance costs of the equipment, as well as the issue of meeting exhaust gas standards, which must not cause secondary pollution;

Reasonably arrange the waste gas treatment process and design equipment types based on the site conditions of the project;

Require simple equipment structure, easy operation, and convenient replacement of absorbents, adsorbents, or catalysts, etc;
6、 Other factors
When dealing with toxic, flammable, and explosive gases, attention should be paid to safety measures such as leak prevention and explosion prevention of exhaust gas treatment equipment.
