HBzan Content Introduction:Pneumatic diaphragm metering pumpIt is widely used in our daily lives before use. Introduce how to choose a suitable pneumatic diaphragm metering pump and the details we need to pay attention to during use.
1. How to choose the pressure of the metering pump?
When choosing a metering pump, it is generally necessary to know the rated pressure, rated flow rate, type (diaphragm or plunger), and overcurrent material. The rated pressure of a metering pump generally refers to the outlet pressure. When selecting, it is best to choose a rated pressure that exceeds the actual operating pressure by 10% -20%. This can save resources, reduce costs, and improve the metering accuracy of the metering pump in actual use.
2. How to choose the flow rate of the metering pump?
When the metering pump is working, it is generally used with high metering accuracy between 10% and 90% of the rated flow rate. Therefore, when selecting the rated flow rate, the selected flow rate should generally be equal to or slightly greater than the process required flow rate.
3. How to choose the type of metering pump?
According to the different transmission forms, metering pumps are mainly divided into two types: plunger metering pumps and diaphragm metering pumps. Piston metering pumps have relatively stable performance and high measurement accuracy, and can transport media with relatively high viscosity. In addition to the previous advantages, diaphragm metering pumps also have some special advantages: no leakage during operation, and can transport special liquids (such as dangerous goods, highly corrosive liquids, etc.).
Precautions for use
1. Ensure that the maximum particle size contained in the fluid does not exceed the maximum safe particle diameter standard of the pump;
2. The intake pressure should not exceed the maximum allowable operating pressure of the pneumatic diaphragm pump. Compressed air above the rated pressure may cause personal injury, property damage, and damage to the pump's performance;
3. Ensure that the pipeline system of the pump pressure can withstand the highest output pressure achieved, and guarantee the cleanliness and normal working conditions of the driving gas system;
4. Static sparks may cause explosions, resulting in personal injury accidents and property damage. Use wires with sufficient cross-sectional area as needed to properly and reliably ground the grounding screws on the pump;
5. Grounding requirements comply with local laws and regulations, as well as some special requirements on site;
6. Tighten the pneumatic diaphragm pump and all connecting pipe joints to prevent static sparks caused by vibration impact. Use anti-static hoses;
7. To periodically check and test the reliability of the grounding system, it is required that the grounding resistance be less than 100 ohms;
8. Maintain good exhaust and ventilation, stay away from flammable, explosive, and heat sources;
9. The exhaust of the pump may contain solid substances. Do not point the exhaust port towards the work area or people to avoid personal injury;
10. When the diaphragm fails, the conveyed material will be sprayed out from the exhaust muffler;
11. Ensure that all operators are familiar with the operation and use of the pump, and master the safety precautions for pump use. If necessary, provide necessary protective equipment;
12. Please use a pipe with at least three eighths inner diameter and smooth inner wall to connect the exhaust port and muffler;
13. When pneumatic diaphragm metering pumps transport flammable and toxic fluids, please connect the discharge outlet to a safe place away from the work area;
14. If the pump is transporting harmful and toxic fluids, please do not send the pump directly to the manufacturer for repair. Handle properly in accordance with local laws and regulations;
15. Ensure that all components in contact with the conveying body are not corroded or damaged by the fluid being conveyed;
16. The high pressure of the fluid may cause serious personal injury and property damage. Please do not perform any maintenance work on the pump and material pipe system while the pump is pressurized. If maintenance is required, first cut off the pump's intake, open the bypass pressure relief mechanism to relieve the pressure of the pipeline system, and slowly loosen the connected pipeline joints;
