Working principle of pneumatic valve

  Introduction to Pneumatic Valves:
Electric valve, also known as pneumatic ball valve, pneumatic gate valve, or pneumatic pilot valve, is an automated equipment that uses an easy to operate and highly reliable pneumatic method to control the opening and closing of fluids.
  1、 Working principle of pneumatic valve
1. Pneumatic operation principle
The throttle valve adopts pneumatic drive, which uses the air source to drive the cylinder to open or close the valve and achieve fluid control.
2. Pneumatic output principle
When the gas source inputs pressure to the cylinder, the piston of the cylinder rises, causing the boom to move and driving the butterfly plate on the eccentric shaft to rotate. The valve disc on the butterfly plate contacts the inclined surface, causing the valve disc to rise and close the valve stem. By adjusting the flow rate of the gas source, the valve can be controlled to open and close.
PS: Compressed air drives the movement of multiple sets of combined pneumatic pistons inside the actuator, transmitting force to the crossbeam and inner curved track, driving the air core spindle to rotate. The compressed air disc is transmitted to each cylinder, changing the inlet and outlet positions to change the direction of spindle rotation. According to the required rotational torque of the load (valve), the number of cylinder combinations can be adjusted to drive the load (valve) to work. Two position five way solenoid valves are usually used in conjunction with double acting pneumatic actuators, with two positions controllable: on-off. Five way valves have five channels for ventilation, one of which is connected to the air source, two are connected to the inlet and outlet of the external air chamber of the double acting cylinder, and two are connected to the inlet and outlet of the internal air chamber. The specific working principle can refer to the working principle of double acting pneumatic actuators.
  2、 The function of pneumatic valves
1. Control traffic flow
Pneumatic valves can adjust the flow rate by regulating the flow rate of the gas source, achieving the set flow control range.
2. Control pressure
The pressure control range can be achieved by setting the pressure at one or both ends through pneumatic valves.
3. Control direction
Pneumatic valves can be used to control the flow direction of fluids, replacing traditional valves.
4. Protect device security
Pneumatic valves can control the inflow and outflow of fluids, achieving the purpose of protecting equipment safety and avoiding accidents.
