Emerson completes acquisition of Pental's valve and control business

St. Louis, Missouri, USA (April 28, 2017) - Emerson (NYSE: EMR) announced today that its acquisition of Pental's valve and control business for $3.15 billion has been completed.

The headquarters of Bintel Valve and Control Business is located in Schaffhausen, Switzerland, with nearly 7500 employees worldwide. Its products are widely used in industries such as chemical, petrochemical, oil and gas, power, metallurgy, etc. Bintel's valve and control business has always held a position in the valve solution market. The valve and control business will be integrated into Emerson's automation solutions platform.
