General technical requirements for opening and closing machines

The selection and layout of the hoist should be based on the hydraulic layout, door type, number of holes and operation, time requirements, and the main characteristics of various commonly used hoists in design, manufacturing, and operation. After comprehensive technical and economic demonstration, the hoist should be selected. The selection and layout of the hoist must also meet the requirements of advanced technology, economic rationality, reliable operation, safe operation, convenient maintenance, landscape coordination, and safety and hygiene, and can maximize the maximum benefits of the hoist in the project.

The selection of opening and closing machines should give priority to existing serialized products. The opening and closing force of the hoist should be greater than or equal to the calculated opening and closing load; It is also allowed to be slightly less than the calculated opening and closing force, but not exceeding 5%, and it should also comply with the standards of the opening and closing machine series. The lift of the hoist can be determined according to the operating conditions and should meet the following requirements:

(1) Can the overflow gate raise the overflow water surface curve above 1? 2m, To avoid the impact of floating objects on the water surface on the gate.

(2) Can the fast gate be raised to 0.5 above the orifice? 1.0m。

(3) Can the maintenance platform be raised above 0.5 during gate maintenance? 1.0m。

In addition to meeting the maximum working head requirements for opening and closing gates, the hoist should also have appropriate margin.

In order to ensure the safe and reliable operation of the hoist, different forms of hoist should be equipped with corresponding safety devices, such as brakes, load limiters, torque limiters, lifting limit devices, travel limiters, buffers, windproof rail clamps, anchoring devices, hydraulic system protection devices (overflow valves, pressure relays, etc.), and electrical protection devices. The hoist should also take protective measures such as moisture-proof ventilation, anti-corrosion, and windproof sand.

The hoist should be installed above the highest water level to prevent flooding and facilitate normal maintenance of gates, gate slots, and hoist components. According to the climate, wind and sand conditions, and considering the working conditions of maintenance personnel, fixed opening and closing machines can be installed in the machine room or arranged outdoors. When setting up the computer room, it should be separated from the gate vent hole, and its plane size should leave necessary maintenance and installation space on the side of the machine near the computer room, while the rest should be separated from the wall

In cold regions with operational requirements during winter, the machine room of the hoist should have insulation facilities, and the selection of the type of working oil or lubricating oil should consider the temperature conditions in the working area.

According to the working conditions and technical and economic indicators of the hoist, a high lift hoist can be used when conditions permit to avoid dismantling the suspension rod. When arranging a high lift hoist, it is necessary to prevent interference between the pulley system, wire rope, and gate slot. The pulley system should be equipped with protective measures to prevent the steel wire rope from slipping out of the groove. For the pulley system immersed in water, sliding bearings should be used, and anti-corrosion measures should be taken on the shaft surface. When using rolling bearings, sealing devices should be installed. For steel wire ropes that are frequently immersed in water, zinc coated steel wire ropes should be selected.

The lifting centerline of the gantry crane when lifting the flat gate should be consistent with the lifting centerline of the emergency gate. For mobile hoists with high opening and closing forces, it is advisable to use automatic hanging beams or hand cranked coupling devices when connecting the lifting equipment to the lifting ears of the gate (or suspension rod). When the connecting shaft of a fixed hoist is heavy and difficult to operate, it is also advisable to install a hand cranked coupling device.

Reliable backup power sources must be installed for the opening and closing machines used to operate flood discharge and other emergency gates. Hand cranked mechanisms can be installed when necessary for low opening and closing force opening and closing machines.

The opening and closing machine of the double hanging point gate should be equipped with a synchronization device. During the opening and closing process, the operation of the gate should not be affected by errors in various parts. For double suspension point closing machines with sediment accumulation in front of the gate, the determination of their opening and closing forces should consider the uneven coefficient of the opening and closing loads of the two suspension points.

For gates with small opening water filling requirements, the hoist should be equipped with a device that can meet the accuracy of small opening Travel switches or other measures.
