Introduction to Y700-A Depth Sensor
Date: 2025-12-04Read: 0

Y700-A depth sensor RS485 digital interface, supports MODBUS protocol, environmentally friendly design, can be easily integrated into water quality monitoring systems to meet customer needs.

IP68 protection level is applicable to water level measurement of Rivers and Lakes, liquid level measurement of containers and storage systems, liquid level monitoring of fire pool and water tank, liquid level monitoring of rainwater and sewage lift pumps and pumping stations, and water level monitoring of inspection wells.

Characteristics of Y700-A Depth Sensor

Input based measurement method;

All stainless steel structure design, small volume, light weight;

Choose stable and reliable diffusion silicon pressure sensors with excellent repeatability and stability;

Digital sensor, RS-485 output, standard Modbus protocol.

The application fields of depth sensors are very wide, and according to their working principles and characteristics, they can be mainly divided into the following categories:

Industrial and Manufacturing Fields

Oil drilling: In oil drilling operations, depth sensors are used to monitor drilling depth in real-time. It collects angular displacement data of the winch shaft, processes it into hook height and drilling depth through computer processing, and is a key equipment to ensure the safety and efficiency of drilling operations. ‌

Industrial Automation and Control: In intelligent manufacturing and automated production, depth sensors (such as displacement sensors, visual sensors, etc.) are used for high-precision position detection, size measurement, object recognition, and quality control, and are suitable for various complex industrial scenarios. ‌

Scientific exploration and resource development

Ocean exploration: Depth measurement sensors are the "eyes" and "ears" of deep-sea probes, used to measure seabed topography, marine resource distribution, and provide basic data for marine scientific research, underwater archaeology (such as locating sunken ship sites), and resource development. ‌

Geological exploration: In oil and gas exploration, groundwater management, and environmental geological surveys, sensors are used to measure rock depth, groundwater level, etc., providing a basis for resource assessment and disaster warning. ‌
