The Housing and Urban Rural Development Bureau of Siping City has vigorously rectified non-point sources of pollution such as construction site dust, outdoor barbecue, and road dust through joint law enforcement, increased investment, and strict management, and strengthened the control of air pollution in urban areas.
The continuous construction of urban construction sites has led to an increase in dust in the city. In response to this situation, the Housing and Urban Rural Development Bureau of Siping City has comprehensively standardized 88 construction projects undertaken by 38 construction enterprises in the city. Li Chunyu, Deputy Director of Tiexi Department of Siping Housing and Construction Engineering Management Office
There are five issues and requirements that run through the entire dust control area. The first is full enclosure, full hardening, full vehicle washing, full coverage, and full coverage of sand and soil. The main things are vehicle transportation. We are working on the construction main body, construction walking roads, and hardening aspects. The next step is still to focus on these aspects because they are the ones that run through dust control
In response to the pollution caused by outdoor barbecue in urban areas, the Housing and Urban Rural Development Bureau of Siping City has carefully formulated a centralized rectification plan, and has launched joint law enforcement with environmental protection, industry and commerce, food and drug supervision, *, and urban appearance supervision in various districts to crack down severely on various outdoor barbecue behaviors in urban areas.
Next, we will comprehensively rectify all outdoor barbecues in the city. Those that do not meet the standards and affect people's lives will be strictly and resolutely banned in accordance with the City Appearance Management Regulations and Article 118 of the Air Pollution Law, in order to provide a better environment for the people
