Purpose:

HY.SLC9-2The Type I direct reading ocean current meter is a new type of flow measurement instrument that is lightweight, reliable, inexpensive, and has low energy consumption. It mainly consists of an underwater host, an underwater data terminal, and other components. It uses a three core lightweight cable to transmit signals and can bear the weight of underwater detectors. This instrument can be used on any type of vessel or platform.

The instrument can be used to measure the velocity and direction of water flow at different depths in oceans, harbors, rivers, lakes, reservoirs and estuaries, and is especially suitable for use in ultra shallow waters. At the same time, it can also use a float to float the detector away from the hull to measure the velocity and direction of surface currents.

IIIInstrument structure:

The water-based host of the instrument is a data terminal based on a low-power unit microcomputer. The flow direction adopts a compass potentiometer sensor. The fuselage and tail wing follow the direction of the water flow, while the compass follows the direction of the geomagnetic field, and its potentiometer output is proportional to the direction of the magnetic field. This signal is transmitted throughV-FThe converter is converted into a frequency modulation signal, which is sent to the host through a cable. Through counting and linear processing, the measured value of the flow direction is obtained. The flow velocity is sensed by the propeller, and its rotational speed is proportional to the flow velocity, with a proportionality coefficient of approximately2.5turn/Rice. The magnetic coupling of the rotational speed causes the reed tube inside the flow rate sensor to switch on and off, resulting in a flow rate pulse that is sent to the host through a cable. By counting and linear processing, the measured flow velocity is obtained.

The buzzer in the host is used to prompt the user to read. Five Operating procedure:

Normal operation:

The instrument flow rate is the average value measured during the basic working cycle. The flow direction is the instantaneous value measured at the end of the basic working cycle. The measurement is completed, and the buzzer prompts the user to record the reading. The LCD display alternately displays the flow direction value and flow velocity value, repeating8Next time. The symbol ":" flashes periodically, indicating that flow velocity and direction measurement is being carried out.

VINotes:

Handle the instrument with care and avoid collision. During use, pay attention to protecting the cable from friction and squeezing.

After using the instrument, clean the underwater host with fresh water. Remove the battery from the data terminal

The water host should be kept away from moisture or water droplets during use.

Be careful when inserting and disconnecting cable plugs to avoid damage.
