Due to long-term discharge of sewage into the channel, the channel is severely silted up and the water flow is poor, resulting in serious deterioration of water quality along the channel, black hair and foul smell, and serious pollution to the surrounding air environment. This affects the appearance of the city, affects the daily life of residents, and brings many inconveniences to their lives.

As Sanya City becomes a pilot city for double repair, the construction of temporary drainage projects in Linchun low-lying areas of Jiyang District is urgent. In order to solve the problem of sewage and rainwater collection in low-lying areas, the area is now being renovated by building new sewage collection pipes along the ditch, and constructing a sewage lifting pump station and temporary interception measures. The sewage discharged into the ditch is collected and lifted into the current municipal sewage pipe, improving the sewage discharge system of the entire area and solving the problem of disorderly discharge of residents' sewage.
