Under normal flue gas temperature conditions, only cloth bags need to be able to withstand temperatures below 150 ℃. In these situations, chemical fibers such as polyester, polypropylene, acrylic, and nylon can be basically competent. However, for situations with relatively high flue gas temperatures, such as chemical, carbon black (white carbon black) tail gas, blast furnace gas from iron mills, shaft kiln tail gas from cement plants, kiln tail gas from calcium carbide plants, flue gas from casting and steelmaking plants, asphalt concrete mixing flue gas, refractory brick kiln flue gas, coking flue gas, etc., firstly, because these dusty flue gas dust are not suitable for collection by electrostatic precipitators due to specific resistance limitations, and can only be collected by cloth bags or other methods; Secondly, if it is necessary to reduce the temperature of dusty flue gas to below 150 ℃, the investment may be high or limited by the site conditions; Thirdly, due to the presence of sulfur in dusty flue gas, it has an acid 'dew point' and can only be filtered and separated at temperatures above the acid dew point. Therefore, a chemical fiber that can withstand higher temperatures is needed to make filter materials.
