Performance characteristics of 2BV water ring vacuum pump:

water ring vacuum pump(abbreviated as water ring pump) is a coarse vacuum pump that can achieve a maximum vacuum of 2000~4000Pa, and can be connected in series with an atmospheric injector to reach 270~670Pa. Water ring pumps can also be used as compressors, known as water ring compressors, which belong to low-pressure compressors with a pressure range of 1~2 × 105Pa gauge pressure.

Compact structure, high rotation speed of the pump, generally can be directly connected to the electric motor without the need for a deceleration device. Therefore, with a small structural size, a large displacement can be obtained, and the footprint is also small. Compressed gas is basically isothermal, that is, the temperature change during the compressed gas process is very small.

Due to the absence of metal friction surfaces in the pump chamber, there is no need for lubrication inside the pump, and the wear is minimal. The sealing between the rotating and fixed parts can be directly achieved by a water seal. Uniform inhalation, stable and reliable operation, simple operation, and convenient maintenance.

Working principle of 2BV water ring vacuum pump: 

A certain amount of water is injected into the cylindrical pump cylinder of the water ring vacuum pump. The star shaped impeller is eccentrically installed in the pump cylinder. When the impeller rotates, the water is thrown around by centrifugal force, forming a closed water ring that is eccentric relative to the impeller.

The gas sucked in the 2BV water ring vacuum pump enters the space between the water ring and the impeller through the suction pipe and joint via the suction hole. The crescent shaped part on the right gradually increases in volume due to the rotation of the impeller, resulting in vacuum suction of gas. Due to the eccentric rotation of the impeller, this space gradually shrinks, and the gas is gradually compressed and pressurized. The gas and water then enter the water tank through the exhaust hole and the joint along the exhaust pipe, and are automatically separated before being released through the exhaust pipe. The waste water and air from the water ring vacuum pump are discharged into the water tank together.
