AAT Screen Quest No Wash Fura-2 Calcium Detection KitIt is developed by AAT BioquestUsed for calcium ion detection.This ratio method calcium detection kit can uniformly detect changes in intracellular calcium ion concentration caused by activation of G protein coupled receptors or calcium channels. Cells expressing the target GPCR and conducting calcium signaling need to be pre loaded with Fura-2 AM probes that can penetrate the cell membrane. After entering the cell, the hydrophobic blocking group of the probe will be hydrolyzed by esterase, forming a negatively charged fluorescent dye that remains inside the cell. Its fluorescence wavelength will undergo a blue shift after binding with calcium.
