The AV4958 handheld microwave comprehensive tester integrates multiple functions such as cable and antenna standing wave ratio testing, discontinuous point fault location testing, insertion loss and gain testing, spectrum analysis, power measurement, etc. It is easy to carry, flexible and maneuverable, and can be powered by batteries, making it very suitable for on-site testing. This comprehensive testing instrument can be widely used in various aspects of on-site installation and debugging, performance testing, daily maintenance, and emergency repair testing of electronic equipment such as radar, communication, and electronic countermeasures, effectively improving users' on-site maintenance and support capabilities.

Antenna feeder testing
The handheld microwave comprehensive tester has a feeder line testing frequency range of 1MHz to 20GHz, with a frequency resolution of 10Hz. It can measure parameters such as voltage standing wave ratio, return loss, impedance, and cable loss of the tested component, and also provides fault point location function (DTF) to accurately locate impedance mismatch points.

Network analysis
The network analysis frequency range of the handheld microwave comprehensive tester is 1MHz to 20GHz, with a frequency resolution of 10Hz. It provides standard full 4S parameter vector network analysis and measurement capabilities, and can perform full S-parameter tests such as amplifiers, filters, attenuators, duplexers, etc. Display formats include logarithmic, linear, phase, impedance, polar coordinates, etc.

Spectrum analysis
The handheld microwave comprehensive testing instrument has a frequency range of 100kHz to 20GHz for spectrum analysis. It has the characteristics of wide bandwidth, high resolution, high sensitivity, and large dynamic range. It can easily obtain various parameters that are not easily obtained in time-domain measurements, such as spectrum purity, signal distortion, parasitism, intermodulation, etc.

USB power measurement (optional)
The handheld microwave comprehensive tester can measure power by selecting the AV8723X series USB power probe from 41 Institute, and can measure RF/microwave signals with frequencies up to 40GHz.
