Product Details

Activated carbon is a type of microcrystalline carbon material made from carbon containing materials, which has a black appearance, developed internal pore structure, large surface area, and strong adsorption capacity. Activated carbon is a commonly used adsorbent, catalyst, or catalyst carrier, widely used in almost all sectors of the national economy and people's daily lives.

Classification of Activated Carbon - Due to differences in raw material sources, manufacturing methods, appearance shapes, and application scenarios, there are no less than a thousand types of activated carbon. As mentioned earlier, activated carbon is widely used in almost all sectors of the national economy and people's daily lives. Therefore, it is difficult to classify activated carbon according to its application scenarios. The problem is that the same activated carbon can be used in multiple situations, and multiple activated carbons can be used in a certain situation to achieve the same goal. Activated carbon has adsorption, catalytic, and chemical reaction properties, as well as relative physical and chemical stability. Activated carbon is widely used in almost all sectors of the national economy and people's daily lives. Our factory mainly uses hard fruit shells such as coconut shells, apricot kernels, walnut shells, and peach shells as raw materials. Activated carbon is processed using advanced technology and equipment through carbonization, activation, screening, and refining to produce activated carbon of different properties and specifications. At the same time, in order to meet the needs of the market, activated carbon using anthracite as raw material has been developed and produced.

The activated carbon produced by our factory is divided into the following three categories according to shape:

1. Unshaped granular activated carbon

Unshaped granular activated carbon is made from fruit shells and refined using advanced technology, with a black appearance of amorphous particles. Activated carbon amorphous granular activated carbon has the advantages of developed pore structure, large specific surface area, strong adsorption capacity, high mechanical strength, low bed resistance, good chemical stability, ease of use, and durability; Amorphous granular activated carbon is widely used for deep purification of drinking water, industrial water, and wastewater; Separation, purification, and purification of various gases. It is an ideal material for indoor air purification.; Organic solvent recovery; Decolorization, deodorization, and refining of sugar, monosodium glutamate, pharmaceuticals, alcoholic beverages, and beverages; Extraction of precious metals; Catalysts and catalyst carriers in the chemical industry.

2. Columnar granular activated carbon:

Columnar granular activated carbon is made from anthracite and charcoal as raw materials, processed and refined using advanced technology. The appearance of activated carbon is black columnar particles. Columnar granular activated carbon has the characteristics of developed porosity, large specific surface area, strong adsorption force, high mechanical strength, easy repeatability, and low cost. Columnar granular activated carbon is widely used in the purification of toxic gases, waste gas treatment, purification of industrial and domestic water, solvent recovery, and other fields.

Activated carbon waste gas adsorption tower replacement and treatment:

There is a physical reaction between the adsorption packing of activated carbon waste gas adsorption tower and organic waste gas. The adsorption efficiency gradually decreases over time of use. But the adsorption filler needs to be replaced once. Generally, it can be used for about a year. If the concentration of exhaust gas is greater than1000mg/m3 or higher. The service life of the adsorption filler is correspondingly shortened. The replaced adsorption packing can be disposed of at will. Not causing secondary pollution.

The correct steps and key points for replacing environmentally friendly waste gas columnar activated carbon in activated carbon waste gas adsorption tower

1: Reduce the pressure of the air purification system to zero, close the inlet and outlet valves of the air purification system, manually open the lower end of the degreaser, and reduce the pressure of the system to zero. When closing the valve, be sure to keep it closed The door is tightly closed; And when unloading, the system pressure should be reduced do0MPa。 If the pressure is not relieved, it will affect the next step of work.

2: After opening the flange cover and discharge port to reduce the system pressure to zero, use the corresponding wrench to unscrew the upper and lower flange cover nuts, remove the flange (if there is a hand hole, you can first remove the flange and hand hole), and unscrew the bolts on the flange cover one by one(The upper flange bolts do not need to be unscrewed to prevent activated carbon from falling into the bolt holes during installation, making it inconvenient to clean the activated carbon and prevent the bolts from being tightened completely, resulting in air leakage.) Place the removed flange cover and bolt nuts in place. When opening the lid, be sure to prepare the device for storing activated carbon.

3: Remove internal activated carbon: Use an industrial vacuum cleaner or other tool to remove the activated carbon from the container. Place the extracted activated carbon properly to avoid contaminating the workshop floor. When removing activated carbon, observe Is there oil in the activated carbon particles If there are stains, the filter element and air compressor should be maintained as soon as possible.

4: Cleaning the internal surface of the degreaser: Use a hammer to knock off the activated carbon stuck to the inner wall of the degreaser, then use a clean cloth to clean the inner wall of the degreaser. Use soapy water to clean it, and then dry it with compressed air. If there is rust or the like, be sure to clean it thoroughly. Check if the upper and lower ventilation heads are intact; If the wire mesh of the ventilation head is damaged or has a large amount of rust, it should be removed before replacement50 mesh steel wire mesh; Insufficient rust removal can cause excessive pressure difference.

5: Apart from the flange cover, attach it Reinstall the remaining hole cover and install the lower flange cover (with a hand hole for installing the hand hole flange cover), tighten the corresponding bolts and nuts, and leave the upper flange opening. Tighten the flange connection to prevent air leakage. If the asbestos pad is damaged, it needs to be replaced, otherwise it may cause air leakage. If there is no spare asbestos pad on site and the asbestos pad is damaged, it can be wrapped with raw material tape.

6: Fill with new activated carbon: Pour the new activated carbon into the degreaser according to the expected filling amount, tap the legs or other parts of the degreaser to firmly fill the activated carbon. During the loading process, a fan can be used to blow away the dust in the activated carbon, and a flange cover plate can be installed; In order to avoid the use of activated carbon Insufficient filling resulted in powder Transform, therefore activate Install the charcoal. If the asbestos pad is damaged, it needs to be replaced, otherwise it may cause air leakage. If there is no spare asbestos pad on site and the asbestos pad is damaged, it can be wrapped with raw material tape.

7: Cover the flange cover: Cover the flange cover and tighten the corresponding bolts and nuts. Tighten the flange connection to prevent air leakage. Check air tightness: Open the intake valve of the air purification system and pressurize the degreaser toAbout 0.8MPa, then use a hand feel or soapy water to check for leaks at the connection points. For the leaking parts, tighten them again and test for leaks.

8: Blow off activated carbon dust: Before use, a large amount of compressed air can be used to blow off the oil remover to prevent the oil remover and activated carbon dust from entering the adsorption tower. Excess packing material storage Seal and store excess activated carbon. Clean up the site Clean up the work site and remove any discarded items.

The wide application of activated carbon waste gas adsorption tower:

1. Waste gas treated: organic solvents such as benzene, toluene, xylene, chlorinated hydrocarbons, ketones, alcohols, ammonia, methyl mercaptan, hydrogen sulfide, dimethyl sulfide, trimethylamine, etc.

2. Process laboratory supporting purification of organic waste gas. It can also handle various organic waste gases and odorous gases separately.

3. Application field: Printing. Paint. Rubber. Plastic. pharmacy. Organic chemical engineering, etc.
