Product Introduction

The Geotech airbag pump is a low disturbance groundwater sampling device that is highly suitable for collecting samples containing VOCs pollutants. The airbag pump is divided into two types: portable and fixed. The portable type is equipped with a winch, which facilitates the winding and deployment of pipelines; The fixed type fixes a single sampling pump in a single monitoring well for sampling, avoiding cross contamination of sampling pumps operating between different monitoring wells and saving well cleaning costs.

The airbag pump controller is equipped with a small air compressor that provides compressed air to meet the requirements of working conditions with a static water level within 60 meters. To achieve a greater sampling depth, the airbag pump can also be equipped with a drop pipe component to allow deeper groundwater samples to enter the airbag pump. In order to ensure low disturbance to groundwater, the airbag pump can also choose a drop probe. When the groundwater level settles too much during the sampling process, the sampling can be automatically stopped and wait for the water level to recover.

Geotech can choose to extend the drop tube injection port, which can expand and extend the sampling (inlet) depth of the airbag pump beyond the depth limit of the pump. As long as the pump remains submerged, low flow samples can be effectively and economically extracted from the sieve holes of the well.
