1 Overview
ADL/200N-CT/D16 AC Coupling System Single phase Intelligent InstrumentIt is an intelligent instrument mainly designed for new energy generation systems such as photovoltaic grid connected systems, micro inverter systems, energy storage systems, and AC coupling systems. The product has the advantages of high accuracy, small size, fast response speed, and easy installation. It has the ability to sample, measure, and monitor power parameters, communicate with inverters or energy management systems (EMS), and achieve functions such as preventing backflow, adjusting power generation, and battery charging and discharging based on real-time power and accumulated energy. It can measure in both directions and achieve distributed photovoltaic energy management for household use.

Measurement function
Capable of measuring all electrical parameters including voltage U, current I, active power P, reactive power Q, apparent power S, power factor PF, and frequency.
Voltage U is rounded to 1 decimal place, frequency F is rounded to 2 decimal places, current I is rounded to 2 decimal places, and power P is rounded to 3 decimal places.
For example: U=220.1V, f=49.98Hz, I=1.99A, P=0.439kW. The instrument also provides high-speed response registers for the above electrical parameters, as described in Chapter 9 Communication Instructions.
Measurement function
Can measure the current combination of active energy, forward active energy, reverse active energy, forward reactive energy, and reverse reactive energy.
8 Communication Instructions
The RS485 communication interface of the instrument supports MODBUS-RTU communication protocol, and the baud rate of the communication port can be set between 1200bps, 2400 bps, 4800bps, 9600bps, 19200 bps, and 38400 bps, with no checksum.
The RS485 communication port of the instrument requires the use of shielded twisted pair cables for connection. When wiring, the layout of the entire network should be considered, such as the length and direction of communication cables, the position of the upper computer, the matching resistance at the end of the network, communication converters, network scalability, network coverage range, and electromagnetic interference in the environment, all of which need to be comprehensively considered.
Note: 1. Construction must strictly follow the requirements in wiring engineering;
2. For instruments that do not require communication temporarily, they should be connected to the RS-485 network for diagnosis and testing purposes;
3. When connecting RS-485 cables, try to use dual color twisted pair cables, and connect all 485 communication ports with the same color at the "A" end and another color at the "B" end.
4. The RS-485 bus (from the communication port of the upper computer to any connected instrument terminal communication port) shall not exceed 1000 meters in length.
