The main application of electric heat tracing system in waste incineration power plants is to prevent the fly ash from condensing on the equipment surface after waste incineration. In general, fly ash comes out of the lower part of the reactor and passes through the ash hopper of the dust collector. From the lower part of the ash hopper, it passes through the screw conveyor and chain conveyor to the bucket elevator. Fly ash is lifted to the upper part of the ash silo by a bucket elevator and stored in the silo. There is an ash unloading system at the lower part of the ash silo. Normally, these devices, as well as their associated pipelines and valves, require an electric heat tracing system. However, for ash hoppers, ash silos, and reactors, only lower heat tracing may be required.
