Modified asphalt: an asphalt binder made by adding resin, polymer, ground rubber powder, or other fillers to improve the performance of asphalt or asphalt mixtures. It is the basic material for road paving and waterproof coating production.

During the process of asphalt mixing, heating, and processing, a large amount of asphalt smoke containing fine tar particles is generated. Smoke contains carbon cyclic hydrocarbons, cyclic hydrocarbon derivatives, and various other compounds, which pollute the environment and pose a threat to health.

Asphalt smoke control process:

1、 The multiple folded plate filter recovers most of the volatile compounds in the flue gas, and the recovered materials are collected in liquid form for easy reuse.

2、 The remaining light small molecule flue gas is incinerated and treated by a high-temperature plasma device.

3、 After incineration treatment, the exhaust gas is cleared of particulate matter by a folded plate demister to achieve zero smoke and dust emissions.
