Installation and Connection Guide for BM40IE Signal Amplifier

1. ‌Hardware preparation and connection

  • sensor connectionConnect the weighing sensor to the sensor input port of BM40IE through a shielded cable to ensure correct polarity (usually red/black lines correspond to positive/negative poles).

  • Power supply and bus connectionPowered by a 24V DC power supply and connected to the main controller via EtherCAT bus (RJ45 interface), please note that a 120 Ω resistor should be added to the terminal to match the impedance


2. ‌software configuration

  • Interface switchingSelect the EtherCAT protocol through HBM software (such as Catman or web interface) and configure the slave address, sampling rate (up to 19.2 kHz), and digital I/O function.
