Product Introduction

Ultrafiltration (UF) is a membrane separation technology that can purify and separate solutions. The ultrafiltration membrane system is a solution separation device that uses ultrafiltration membrane fibers as the filtration medium and the pressure difference on both sides of the membrane as the driving force. Ultrafiltration membranes only allow solvents (such as water molecules), inorganic salts, and small organic molecules in the solution to pass through, while intercepting large molecular substances such as suspended solids, colloids, proteins, and microorganisms in the solution, thereby achieving the purpose of purification and separation.

1、 Advantages of ultrafiltration equipment:

Ultrafiltration utilizes the interception ability of porous materials to physically remove impurities of a certain size from water. Under pressure, small-sized substances such as water, organic low molecules, and inorganic ions in the solution can reach the other side of the membrane through the micropores on the fiber wall, while large-sized substances such as bacteria, colloids, particles, and organic macromolecules in the solution cannot pass through the fiber wall and are intercepted, thus achieving the purpose of sieving different components in the solution. This process operates at room temperature, with no phase change and no secondary pollution. Ultrafiltration direct drinking water equipment uses ultrafiltration membrane as the core product to filter water quality. The produced water is what we usually refer to as mineral water.

3、 Scope of adaptation

Mineral water: In the production of mineral water, ultrafiltration technology is applied. In engineering design, the pore size and membrane type of the membrane will be selected according to the water quality analysis report of the mineral water source, and ultrafiltration design will be designed accordingly.

◆ Food: Ultrafiltration technology is gradually adopted in the production of dairy products, fruit juice, wine, seasonings and other food products, such as the separation of protein and low molecular weight lactose from water in milk or whey, clarification and sterilization of fruit juice, removal of colored proteins, polysaccharides and other colloidal impurities in wine, and removal of bacteria in soy sauce and vinegar. Compared with traditional methods, it has shown advantages such as economy, reliability and quality assurance.

◆ Medicine: In the production of medicine and biochemistry, it is often necessary to separate and purify thermosensitive substances, and ultrafiltration technology has shown its outstanding advantages in this regard. The use of ultrafiltration to separate and concentrate bioactive substances (such as enzymes, viruses, nucleic acids, special proteins, etc.) is quite suitable for extracting drugs from plants and animals (such as alkaloids, hormones, etc.). The extract often contains large molecules or solid substances, which can be separated by ultrafiltration in many cases to improve product quality.
