The BSI-2A biphasic excitation isolator and BSI-2A biphasic electrical stimulator have been optimized for applications that require precise control of rectangular waveform excitation. It is designed forDual phase single channel external timing circuit(such as MLS BPG-1P, digital controller, or other single-phase pulse signal sources, such as computers). External timed input gates two optically isolated, independent battery powered constant current sources. Due to their independent isolators, range control, and output circuits, the outputs of "A" and "B" can be used as independent single-phase excitations, isolated from each other and from the control input. Each output has an inverting switch and an additional terminal for installing coupling capacitors or current monitoring resistors. The two sets of output terminals are cleverly placed, so adding two jumpers (provided) can immediately convert the device to dual phase or pulse pair operation.
BSI-2A biphasic excitation isolator, BSI-2A biphasic electrical stimulator has high compliance, high isolation, and the same convenient portable plastic housing as BSI-1A. The main difference is that its output circuit has been optimized for gate switch operation, rather than proportional input following. This working mode itself has very low noise and eliminates the danger of applying DC current due to low control signal level offset between output pulses. It also allows manual adjustment of the output level from the device itself, which can be placed near the preparation. If you need non rectangular waveforms (such as sine waves, slopes, or computer D/A drives), we recommend BSI-1A, which is a linear biphasic excitation isolator with a complete range of constant current and constant voltage output levels.
