The CMI150 thickness gauge applies dual function measurement technology, which can automatically identify magnetic or non-magnetic substrates and then adopt corresponding testing methods, suitable for various measurement environments. CMI150 can measure the thickness of non-conductive coatings on non-magnetic substrates and non-magnetic coatings on magnetic substrates.
This lightweight, multifunctional, one handed thickness gauge comes with a portable leather case with a belt clip. Its sturdy and durable design allows you to use CMI150 in harsh environments.
CMI150 adopts one click operation, simple and easy to use, no need for operator training, no need for calibration, and no need to reset any measurement room.
The eddy current testing method measures the non-conductive properties and non-metallic coating thickness on non-magnetic metal substrates. Applications include thickness measurement of Teflon, enamel, porcelain glaze, epoxy resin, anodized layer or coating on aluminum or copper substrates.
Magnetic induction testing method measures the thickness of non-magnetic coating on magnetic substrates. The applied coatings include zinc, cadmium, coatings, or powder coating.
