Advantages of catalytic combustion equipment for exhaust gas in paint spraying rooms
(1) Using a thin layer of activated carbon fiber (ACF) as the adsorption unit results in high adsorption efficiency and low airflow resistance.
(2) Fast speed and low energy consumption.
(3) Adopting PLC fully automatic control and unmanned operation.
(4) The adsorption cycle of the adsorber is fast, safe, and durable.
If the factory exhaust gas is acidic gas and contains tar, it can be washed with dilute alkaline water. Priority should be given to using packed absorption towers, as plate towers have a higher pressure drop and are generally not used. Determine the diameter of the tower based on the air volume of the fan, increase the height of the tower appropriately, select a suitable liquid distributor, and ensure that the washing effect can be protected by lining materials for corrosion prevention.
Process principle of catalytic combustion equipment for exhaust gas in paint spraying room
In practical applications, activated carbon adsorption and catalytic combustion can be used alone or in combination. The combination mainly utilizes the complementary characteristics of the two: activated carbon adsorption is suitable for high air volume, low concentration exhaust gas, catalytic combustion with low air volume, high concentration exhaust gas, and activated carbon can be adsorbed and desorbed by organic matter at high temperatures. From another perspective, this process can be considered as an on-site activated carbon recovery process, reducing the cost of replacing activated carbon after adsorption saturation. At the same time, regular centralized stripping is carried out to avoid the risk of excessive emissions caused by the failure to replace activated carbon adsorption saturation in a timely manner. Design points: With the increasingly widespread application of catalytic combustion exhaust gas treatment technology, related technologies are also becoming more mature. In the design, it mainly includes the following aspects: tail gas heat exchange and recovery design; Catalyst packing layer design and catalyst selection; Design of equipment operation control and stability control.

Precautions for using catalysts in catalytic combustion equipment for exhaust gas in paint spraying rooms
Before each use of the catalyst, first circulate fresh air in a temperature range of 100-150C above the ignition temperature of the combustible material (usually 300-350 ° C) for more than half an hour to fully preheat the catalytic bed.
2. It is prohibited to introduce organic waste gas when the catalyst bed temperature is lower than the ignition temperature, otherwise it is easy to cause catalyst poisoning and reactor blockage.
3. Avoiding the introduction of dust as much as possible can effectively prevent catalyst pore blockage.
4. The optimal range for the use of catalysts is between 200-250 ° C, and it is advisable to avoid prolonged exposure to high temperatures above 800 ° C as much as possible.
5. When parking, first cut off the exhaust gas source. Do not continue to introduce exhaust gas after cutting off the heating power supply of the catalytic bed and when the temperature is below the required preheating temperature. After cutting off the exhaust gas source, continue to heat the fresh air in front of the catalyst bed and ventilate for more than half an hour. Only after meeting the requirements can the vehicle be stopped to avoid rapid cooling.
6. If the catalyst activity decreases due to low catalyst bed temperature or high concentration of combustibles in the exhaust gas, or if there is a sudden power outage, please increase the preheating temperature in front of the catalyst bed to 350 and let fresh air flow for 1-2 hours when restarting to restore or partially restore the catalyst activity.
7. Special reminder that certain chemical substances can cause catalyst poisoning, such as organic or inorganic substances containing sulfur, lead, mercury, arsenic, chromium, titanium, phosphorus, and halogens, which have a strong destructive effect on the catalyst and can lead to catalyst deactivation, making it impossible to restore activity.
8. According to the specific equipment usage, when the activity of the catalyst may decrease after a long period of use, the catalysts in the upper and lower (front and rear) layers can be swapped and placed. If necessary, the preheating temperature of the catalyst bed and waste gas can be appropriately increased.
9. The activity of the catalyst will slowly decrease in the later stages of use. When it reaches a certain level, please replace the catalyst with a new one from our company.
