Centrifuge for livestock and poultry manure wastewater treatment


There are four technical models for the treatment and comprehensive utilization of livestock and poultry manure:

One is a combination of farming and animal husbandry. This is currently the main method for treating livestock and poultry manure in China. The breeding farm collects manure through dry cleaning or water soaking methods. Using dry manure cleaning method, solid manure is treated by composting or other harmless methods, and sewage and some solid manure are subjected to anaerobic fermentation, oxidation pond and other treatments. On the basis of nutrient management, organic fertilizer, biogas residue, biogas slurry or fertilizer water is applied to field crops, vegetables, fruit trees, tea gardens and trees. The method of using water soaked manure involves anaerobic fermentation and oxidation pond treatment of the manure, which is then returned to the field for agricultural production.

The second is recycling. It is widely used in dairy and duck farms. The breeding farm mainly adopts the method of dry cleaning of manure, which is to control the production water and reduce the water consumption during the breeding process. The farm implements sewage underground transportation, rainwater and sewage separation, and solid-liquid separation to reduce the pressure of sewage treatment. The treated sewage can be used for flushing manure ditches and fences in the field. Solid feces can be processed and utilized through composting, substrate production, cow mattress materials, fuel, and other methods.


The new generation of solid-liquid separation equipment developed by Chaoqian Technology Company, the horizontal spiral centrifuge equipment, has been widely used in industries such as pig manure, cow manure, chicken manure, duck manure, and other livestock and poultry manure wastewater treatment. It is more efficient, energy-saving, and safe on the basis of the original equipment, and has received high praise from customers.

The sales volume of organic fertilizers produced from biogas slurry is limited, and not all biogas slurry can be consumed, so the remaining biogas slurry needs to be treated and discharged in compliance with standards.

1. Start the sewage pump to pump the biogas slurry into the centrifuge, while adding polyacrylamide and polyaluminum chloride drugs according to the standard for centrifugal treatment.

2. The liquid treated with centrifugal drugs is then added to the aeration tank for aeration treatment.

After a long period of aeration treatment, the liquid is pumped into the sedimentation tank for sedimentation treatment.

After being treated by the above facilities and meeting the standards, it will be discharged into the clean water tank and wait for discharge.

5. Through the production and operation of facilities and equipment for comprehensive treatment and utilization of manure, the following benefits have been achieved:

(1) The removal rate of total solids in cow manure by the horizontal screw centrifuge is significantly better than that of the spiral press separator, which has a removal rate of 52% [9].

(2) The faster the drum speed of the horizontal screw centrifuge, the higher the concentration of added flocculants PAM and PAC, and the better the total solid removal effect on cow manure; If the separated solid is considered for the production of organic fertilizer, PAC may not be added, but it will have an impact on the total solid removal rate of cow manure.
