A shielded electric pump is a product that combines a pump and a motor. A shielding sleeve made of special metal material is placed on the inner surface of the motor stator and the outer surface of the rotor, which are sealed and filled separately to prevent contact with the liquid medium being transported. This ensures that the motor and winding are not corroded, and the stator winding maintains good insulation performance. 1. Due to the fact that the transported liquid will not leak to the outside, it is suitable for liquids that are harmful to the human body, flammable and explosive liquids, valuable liquids, and corrosive liquids;
2. Due to the inability to inhale external gas, it is suitable for vacuum system operation and liquids that can deteriorate upon contact with external gas;
3. Due to the absence of a shaft seal, it is suitable for high and low temperature liquids with high system pressure;
4. Due to the absence of lubricating oil, it does not contaminate the conveying fluid and avoids the trouble of oil injection;
5. Due to the coaxial combination of the motor and pump, it has a small volume, light weight, does not occupy space, and is easy to disassemble and inspect;
6. The motor has low operating noise due to the absence of a cooling fan.
According to the temperature, pressure, viscosity, and presence of particles of the transported liquid, shielded electric pumps can be divided into the following types:
1. Basic type: The conveying medium temperature does not exceed 120 ° C, and the head does not exceed 150m. Other types of pumps can be obtained by modifying and improving on the basis of the basic type.
2. Reverse circulation type: In this type of pump, the direction of liquid flow for bearing lubrication, cooling, and motor cooling is exactly opposite to that of the basic type. Its main feature is that it is not prone to cavitation and is particularly suitable for the transportation of easily vaporized liquids, such as liquefied petroleum gas, chloromethane, etc.
3. High temperature type: The general conveying medium has a temperature of up to 350 ° C, a flow rate of up to 300m3/h, and a head of up to 115m. It is suitable for high-temperature liquids such as oil and hot water.
4. High melting point type:pumpEquipping the motor with a jacket can significantly improve the heat resistance of the motor. Suitable for high melting point liquids, with temperatures up to 250 ° C. The jacket can be filled with steam or liquids at a certain temperature to prevent crystallization of high melting point liquids.
5. High pressure type: The pump casing is a high-pressure vessel, which enables multi-stage pipeline pumps to withstand high system pressures. To support the shielding sleeve under high internal pressure, the stator coil can be used to withstand pressure.
6. Self suction type: When the suction tube is not filled with liquid, the pump discharges the liquid through automatic pumping, which is suitable for extracting liquid from underground containers.
7. Multi stage type: equipped with multiple impellers, suitable for high head fluid transportation, with a head of up to 400m.
8. Mud type: Suitable for transporting liquids mixed with large amounts of mud.
