With the increasingly strict requirements of the market for the quality of coal products, the main indicators for measuring the quality of clean coal have risen from a single ash content indicator to three major indicators: ash, water, and sulfur. In recent years, with the increase in the amount of raw coal washed and the rise in the proportion of hydraulic coal mining, the problem of excessive moisture in clean coal has gradually emerged in some coal preparation plants due to technical and technological reasons, becoming a major obstacle to coal preparation production. Reducing the moisture content of flotation clean coal is the fundamental way to solve the problem, especially for coal preparation plants where flotation clean coal accounts for a large proportion (over 40%), reducing the moisture content of flotation clean coal is particularly important.
Clean coal dryerThe system mainly consists of a heat source, a dispersing and crushing device, a feeding system, a drying host, a discharging system, an induced draft fan, an unloader, and a control system. The system configuration will be selected based on the actual situation and operating environment of the customer to achieve a good state.
The working principle of the clean coal dryer is as follows:
Due to its certain viscosity, the material is divided into the following working areas after entering the drum: the first is the guide area. Wet materials enter this area and quickly evaporate moisture when they come into contact with high-temperature hot air. The material is driven by the guide plate with a large guide angle and cannot form a bond before being introduced into the next working area; The second is to sweep up the cleaning area, where the wet coal slurry is swept up by the sweeping board to form a material curtain state. When the material falls, it is easy to form a bonding roller wall phenomenon. In this area, due to the design of the equipment with a cleaning device, the cleaning device effectively cleans the material adhered to the inner wall. During this process, the cleaning device also breaks down the material clumps, thereby increasing the heat exchange area and improving the drying rate; The third is the inclined lifting plate area, where the wet coal slurry is already in a low moisture and loose state, and the material no longer has any bonding phenomenon. After sufficient heat exchange, the material reaches the required moisture state and enters the discharge area; The fourth is the discharge area, where the drum does not have a feeding plate and the material rolls and slides to the discharge port, completing the entire drying process.
The main features of the clean coal dryer are as follows:
1. The dryer has strong overload resistance, large processing capacity, low fuel consumption, and low drying cost;
2. Adopting a downstream drying method, the flue gas and wet materials enter the dryer from the same side, which can utilize high-temperature flue gas to achieve high evaporation intensity. The outlet temperature of the dryer is low, and the thermal efficiency is high;
3. The operating parameters can be changed according to the properties of different materials, so that the materials can form a stable fully broken fabric curtain in the dryer cylinder, and the mass and heat exchange is more sufficient;
4. The new feeding and discharging device avoids the phenomena of feeding blockage, discontinuity, unevenness, and return of materials in the drum dryer, and reduces the load of the dust removal system;
5. The new internal structure enhances the cleaning and heat conduction of dispersed materials, eliminates the sticking phenomenon on the inner wall of the cylinder, and has stronger adaptability to material moisture and viscosity;
6. The dryer has achieved "zero horizontal thrust", greatly reducing the wear of the retaining wheel and ensuring smooth and reliable operation of the cylinder;
7. The dryer adopts a "self-aligning supporting wheel device", which makes the cooperation between the supporting wheel and the rolling ring in linear contact, greatly reducing wear and power loss;
8. The product particle size and moisture can be controlled according to user requirements. When drying coal slurry, the product moisture can reach below 8%, and the particle size can be controlled below 8mm.
