3Overall design description of the device

1) The synthesis and hydrolysis of the device adopt a production process combining kettle type intermittent reaction, fixed bed catalytic reaction, and continuous distillation. It can continuously produce ethyl acetate using ethanol and acetic acid as raw materials and solid acid as catalyst.

2) The design and manufacturing of the device comply with the requirements of relevant standards such as HG/T 20519-2009 "Chemical Process Design Standard", HG/T20546-2009 "Design Regulations for Equipment Layout of Chemical Plants", HG/T20636-1998 "Design Management Regulations for Automation", HG/T 20508-2014 "Design Specification for Control Room", etc.

The device control system consists ofComposed of PLC system and on-site operation console, located in the physical device area, it can achieve operation control of the device on site.

5) Plant utilities

The public works are divided into four parts: circulating cooling water system, air blowing system, waste gas and wastewater discharge system, and tank area.

(1)Circulating cooling water system

The cooling water from the water storage tank is pumped into the water separator through a circulation pump, and then sent to the cooling water inlet of each cooler in each device for heat exchange inside the cooler; The cooling water at the outlet of the cooler enters the cooling water main pipeline after passing through the check valve, and is sent to the outdoor heat exchanger for cooling before returning to the water storage tank.

An exhaust hood is installed at the top of each device to draw exhaust gas into the exhaust manifold and discharge it outdoors, and the manifold is equipped with a windproof cap.

6) Anti corrosion measures for the device

1) Process anti-corrosion measures

By adopting appropriate raw material ratios, process routes, and operating parameters, the conversion rate of acetic acid can be controlled and improved, the equipment and concentration of acetic acid flow in the system can be reduced, and the goal of avoiding and mitigating corrosion can be achieved.

(2)Equipment material anti-corrosion measures

Stainless steel is used according to different types of equipment (static equipment, dynamic equipment, valves, pipelines, sensors), material composition, usage environment, and functions316L、 Various corrosion-resistant materials and anti-corrosion measures such as glass, fluorine lining on the inner wall, and increased wall thickness.

3) Equipment maintenance and anti-corrosion measures

The utility system of the device is equipped with a dedicated cleaning and blowing system (see utility configuration for details), which can clean, replace, and blow the device during long-term parking, regular maintenance, and daily upkeep, avoiding corrosive materials from coming into contact with the equipment for a long time during device shutdown and achieving anti-corrosion purposes.

7) Equipment safety, environmental protection, and health measures

1) A tail gas exhaust manifold is installed in the public works of the device, which is discharged outdoors in accordance with relevant safety and environmental standards.

2) Wastewater tanks are installed in the public works of the device, which can be used for hydrolysis operations

Used as raw material during production; The discharged water is discharged from the closed main pipe in the trench to the sewage collection well, avoiding contact between the discharged water and indoor air.

1.2.1 Synthesis of ethyl acetate
