(1) Preparation before startup
Check the pump body and pipeline: Ensure that the pump body and pipeline are firmly connected and there is no leakage. Check for any residue inside the pump casing and clean it with anhydrous ethanol to ensure the cleanliness of the interior of the pump casing.
Surface treatment: Polish the surface of the casing flow channel and impeller parts until the original metal color is exposed, and then clean them again with anhydrous ethanol.
Lubrication and Fluid Injection: If the magnetic pump requires lubrication, ensure that the lubrication system is working properly. Before starting, ensure that the pump chamber is filled with liquid to avoid dry running damage.
(2) Start and Run
Start sequence: First open the inlet valve, then turn on the motor. Observe the operation of the pump and confirm that there are no abnormal vibrations or noises.
◆ Loading and adjustment: Gradually load to normal working load to ensure stable operation of the pump under design conditions. Adjust the flow rate and head of the pump as needed.
(3) Monitoring and Maintenance
◆ Shaft seal inspection: Regularly check the pressure and flow rate of the shaft seal water, adjust the packing cover or replace the packing in a timely manner to ensure that there is always a small amount of clean water passing through the shaft.
◆ Bearing component inspection: Regularly check the operation of the bearing components. Insufficient or excessive lubricating grease can cause an increase in temperature rise and wear during bearing operation. Therefore, the amount of lubricating grease filling should be moderate.
◆ Adjustment of impeller clearance: the performance of the pump deteriorates with the increase of the clearance between the impeller and the guard plate, and the efficiency decreases. Therefore, the impeller should be adjusted forward in time to maintain a certain clearance, so that the pump can operate efficiently.
