NB/T 33008.1-2018 Inspection and Test Specification for Electric Vehicle Charging Equipment Part 1: Off board Charging Machine Chapter 5.20.2 Prevention of Water Entry Test.

GBT 4208-2017 Degrees of Protection Provided by Enclosures (IP Code) Chapter 14.2.3, second characteristic number 3, swing pipe or sprinkler head test;

Test for swing pipes or sprinkler heads with the second characteristic number of 4 in section 14.2.4;

II Standard test requirements:

1）. Swing pipe water spray test. Place the charger under the swing tube and spray water within a range of ± 180 degrees from the vertical direction. The maximum radius of the swing tube is 1.6m, and the maximum distance between the charger and the swing tube is 0.2m. The flow rate of each hole in the swing tube is 0.07L/min, and the test lasts for 10 minutes.

2）. Spray nozzle water test. Conduct a water spray test on the charger using a nozzle, with a water flow rate of 12.5L/min and a pressure range of 50kPa~150kPa. During the experiment, the pressure should be maintained constant, and the nozzle needs to remove the baffle of the balance weight to ensure that the charger housing is splashed with water in all possible directions. The test time is calculated based on the surface area of the charger housing for 1 minute/m2, with a minimum of 5 minutes.
