Dry installation of hyperbolic mixer for coagulation tankIt can be suitable for many very complex sewage environment treatments, such as some chemical wastewater treatment occasions, because the sewage in these occasions contains solid and liquid waste that needs to be stirred and treated. The upper surface of the curved impeller body of this mixer is a hyperbolic structure formed by the rotation of hyperbolic busbars around the axis of the impeller body. The impeller structure design maximizes the combination of fluid characteristics and mechanical motion. The equation of a hyperbola is a curved surface formed by the rotation of the xy=b curve along the y-axis; In order to cater to the flow of water, the water is designed to enter from the center of the impeller, which reduces the turbulence of the inlet and ensures uniform pressure of the liquid on the surface of the impeller, thereby ensuring the balance of the whole machine in motion. There are six to eight guide vanes evenly distributed on the gradually opening double curved surface. The potential energy obtained by supplementing the inflow with the self weight pressure of the liquid and the centrifugal force generated by the rotation of the impeller form kinetic energy. The liquid moves tangentially along the circumferential direction of the impeller through the hyperbolic structure transition under the action of gravity acceleration, and forms a top-down circulating water flow under the reflection of the pool wall. The above introduction is the reason why this mixer can become a mixer. The following picture shows the new hyperbolic mixer, which has improved its structure compared to previous mixers. Technical Requirements:

1. The hyperbolic mixer is suitable for operation in raw water, sludge water, or liquid medicine mixtures. When working, no fibers should be hung on any part underwater to ensure uniform mixing in each area of the tank, and there will be no sludge sedimentation in the entire tank. The mixing uniformity should be greater than 95%.

2. Du'an Environmental Protection determines the output speed of the mixer through calculation. The mixer needs to operate continuously, intermittently, and after a long period of shutdown under full immersion conditions, and resume operation smoothly and without vibration throughout the entire operation process.

3. The mixer should be able to operate continuously 24 hours a day.

4. The entire load of the mixer should be supported on a concrete bridge, with bearings installed at the bottom for support. The torque is transmitted through a cantilevered vertical shaft and a gear reduction motor.

5. If the bottom of the double curved mixer is not supported, the impeller can self correct during operation, ensuring that the downward force is vertical and preventing unbalanced motion.

6. The impeller and motor direction of the mixer are matched with the pool type and flow state, and any reversal during operation will not cause adverse consequences to the equipment.

7. The transmission shaft is connected and fixed to the output shaft of the reducer through a coupling, and the transmission shaft should have sufficient cross-sectional size to withstand all the working torque of the mixing impeller.

8. The gear reduction motor is installed and fixed on the bridge, and the motor design complies with IEC standards. The rated power of the motor is 1.5 times greater than the actual required power, with F-class insulation. The power supply is 3P, 380V, 50Hz, and the protection level is IP65.


Electrical requirements:

The on-site electrical control box is supplied as a complete set for the mixer. The power, control cables, and cable fasteners from the electrical control box to the mixer are supplied by the equipment unit. The technical requirements for the control box and control are specified in the electrical and control clauses.

Self control requirements

Each mixer (device) needs to achieve on-site one-step control of start/stop function and have PLC remote control function. Its electrical control cabinet should have at least the following signal interfaces:

Input signal (passive contact): on/off control signal

Output signal (passive contact): manual/automatic signal;

Operation signal;

Comprehensive fault signal.

Passive contact signal logic: All signals are positive logic signals;

Signal contact capacity: 220V, 5A.

The signal of the mixer and the factory controller are connected by hard wires.


Dry installation of hyperbolic mixer for coagulation tankAccording to the installation method, it can be divided into two types: GDJ type (dry) and QDJ type (submersible).

1. During transportation, the mixing shaft and impeller must not be subjected to pressure or collision, and must be loaded and unloaded using lifting equipment. The surface of the impeller should be protected from scratches.

2. Place the shock absorber seat flat on the designated position of the bridge, align it horizontally, and connect and fix it to the bridge.

3. Connect and tighten the impeller and mixing shaft flange with bolts.

4. After the installation of the mixer, the mixing shaft must be perpendicular to the horizontal plane. The vertical deviation is less than 1/1000.

5. After turning on the power, gently observe the direction of the mixing shaft's movement. When viewed from top to bottom, the correct direction of movement is counterclockwise rotation. If the opposite is true, switch the wiring positions of any two power supplies.

QDJ series installation steps

1. Separate and fix the motor cable from the sling, and never tie the cable steel rope together. To prevent steel ropes and cables from getting caught up in the impeller.

2. Secure one end of the fixed rope to the shore and connect the cable to the electrical control cabinet.

The characteristics of the hyperbolic mixer and its differences from other mixing equipment

Characteristics of hyperbolic mixer (vertical mixer):
The hyperbolic mixer (vertical mixer) has changed the disadvantages of conventional mixers such as uneven flow velocity, dead corners, and low volume utilization in the mixing tank. It produces uniform bottom omnidirectional push flow in the tank, without sedimentation, and the water surface is calm, with no air entering the water; The appearance of the mixing impeller is reasonable, with a double curved surface design and a non blade structure. It will not produce any debris or fiber entanglement on the mixer, so no maintenance is required during normal operation.
The hyperbolic mixer (vertical mixer) has low impeller speed, low wear, good corrosion resistance, reliable performance, and long service life. Compared with conventional mixers, this high-capacity omnidirectional push flow hyperbolic mixer has lower energy consumption. It generally only requires 2-3 watts to stir 1 cubic meter of sewage, with energy savings of 30% to 50%.

The difference between a hyperbolic mixer (vertical mixer) and other mixing equipment is that:
1. Due to the ideal fluid conditions, energy consumption is lower.
2. Due to the high flow rate of water in the entire pool, there will be no sludge sedimentation.
3. The mixer can self correct during operation, ensuring that the downward force is vertical and preventing unbalanced movement.

5. There are no vulnerable parts underwater, and it is easy and convenient to reach the deceleration motor for maintenance.
6. Do not use materials that are prone to rusting, and use advanced corrosion-resistant materials for both the mixing disc and mixing shaft.
7. Overall exquisite. Continuous improvement ensures an extremely long service life and sturdy and durable quality.
8. It won't block. Unlike horizontal flow mixers, there will be no substance attached to the mixing body.

Installation process of hyperbolic mixer:

1. The pre installed plates on the bridge should be leveled. The pre installed component base should be sturdy enough. The anchor bolts and connectors should be firm and reliable.

2. Place the host on the preset connection board.

3. The umbrella impeller is connected to the mixing shaft and safely placed in the water tank. Be careful not to collide with objects such as pools and bridges. Then, connect the mixing shaft to the main engine. Note: Before completing the above operation process, the lifting equipment should always be kept in normal condition, and attention should be paid to personal safety and equipment safety.

4. After the installation of the mixer, the shaft and vertical and horizontal alignment should be checked. Accuracy with vertical deviation less than 1/1000 millimeter.

5. Remove the motor tail cover, rotate the blades by hand, and check whether the mixer is flexible and normal. The swing deviation of the mixing shaft should have an accuracy of less than 3/1000 millimeters.

6. After the power and point are applied, observe the rotation direction of the mixing wheel. Rotate from top to bottom in the correct direction: counterclockwise. Conversely, change the position of two power lines arbitrarily.

7. The installation of electrical equipment must be carried out in accordance with relevant national regulations. Attention: To ensure the safety of personnel and equipment. The grounding must be firmly connected.

Reliability and durability of equipment

1. The operating time of the equipment shall not be less than 20000 hours.

2. The overall lifespan of the machine shall not be less than 10 years.


Corrosion prevention of equipment

1. After processing stainless steel components, their surfaces are polished to increase surface smoothness and enhance oxidation resistance.

2. Perform anti-corrosion treatment on the machined surface according to GB4879 standard requirements before packaging.

3. During transportation and installation, if the coating is damaged, it should be repaired strictly according to the painting process, and the quality level should not be lower than that of the original coating.


After the installation of the equipment is completed, a trial run must be conducted. Before trial operation, approximately 70% of the tank volume must be injected into the tank. Do not operate the equipment without water to prevent the mixing shaft from bending due to uneven force. Pay attention to checking after trial operation:

1. Is the motor current within the rated range (overcurrent is normal for a short period of time during startup)

2. Is there any debris in the pool.

3. After the new machine starts running for 200-300 hours, it is necessary to replace the lubricating oil of the gearbox and clean the internal oil stains. In the future, it can be replaced once every six months to one year; For detailed information on the use of the deceleration motor, please refer to the manufacturer's user and maintenance manual.

4. Regularly check the swing of the mixing shaft and promptly remove any entanglement on the impeller and shaft.

5. Regularly check for any abnormal changes in current.
