Product details: Depending on the water requirements, sometimes two-stage desalination treatment is required. That is, the first stage desalination equipment is used to remove most of the inorganic salt ions in the water, and then the second stage desalination treatment is used to further desalinate the raw water. EDI (Electrodeionization) is one of the best secondary deep desalination equipment. EDI, also known as continuous electric desalination technology, uses the selective permeation of cations and anions in water by cation and anion membranes, as well as the exchange of ions in water by ion exchange resins, to achieve directional migration of ions in water under the action of an electric field. The loaded resin is continuously regenerated by hydrogen ions and hydroxide ions generated by water electrolysis. Therefore, the EDI water production process can continuously produce high-quality ultrapure water without the need for acid or alkali chemical regeneration.
