1、 Background
The "Eighteen Major Anti accident Measures for Power Grid" of State Grid Corporation of China in 2005 and the "Professional Work Summary of High Voltage Switchgear" in 2006 clearly pointed out that "current carrying faults are mainly concentrated in 10~35KV medium voltage switchgear, accounting for 87.5%,
The existing problem is that the contacts and leads are overheated, often expanding into insulation faults. The main reason for overheating is due to poor contact of the plugs in the switchgear, improper insertion eccentricity, and other factors, resulting in arcing and equipment damage. ”
The High Voltage Switch and DC Power Quality Inspection Center of the National Electric Power Testing Center provides temperature detection standards for switch contacts in high-voltage switchgear: the maximum ambient air temperature of the switchgear is 40 ℃, and the maximum temperature rise of switch contacts is 75 ℃.
IIworking principle
The temperature data of each primary monitoring point is continuously transmitted through sensors, and the receiving host collects and records the temperature data of all monitoring points at regular intervals. If any abnormalities are found, an alarm is immediately triggered. Solved the issue of delays caused by manual on-site inspection/scanning required by other methods.
three、System Composition
① Wireless temperature acquisition and transmission module:
Install a wireless temperature sensor (also known as a probe) on each node that needs to monitor temperature. The sensor automatically measures the temperature at the location every set time and sends the measured temperature data as a wireless signal for output.
Each wireless temperature sensor has a unique 32 bit ID number, which needs to be assigned and recorded for the installation location of each sensor during actual use, and stored together with the ID number in the configuration file of the temperature measurement workstation.
② Wireless temperature measurement communication host:
The temperature measurement communication host (referred to as the terminal) automatically receives temperature data sent by wireless temperature sensors and uploads the received temperature data to the temperature measurement workstation after receiving a read command from the workstation.
Due to the influence of the installation site, the theoretical wireless communication distance can reach several hundred meters, but in reality it is only a few tens of meters. Therefore, only one set of wireless temperature sensors is managed, and the ID numbers of these sensors need to be pre configured and saved in the terminal's flash memory.
