Product Details

LHS41X-16Q/CFlange flow and pressure regulating piston valve

It is a speed and pressure regulating valve developed based on the characteristics of fluid mechanics. It has been applied in fields such as power stations, water diversion, and water supply. The improved flow control valve of this series is not only applicable to clean water, but also has good tolerance to natural Rivers and Lakes water and light sewage. We have solved the problems of scaling, jamming, and oversized driving devices in the design structure and material selection of flow control valves.

Function of piston type flow and pressure regulating valve:

Piston valves are mainly used for linear flow regulation or stable pressure reduction of systems without vibration, cavitation noise, cavitation, or damage to pipelines.

Technical features:

Piston type flow and pressure regulating valve is a valve that can meet the requirements of regulation. Its regulating function is achieved by a piston shaped valve plug that moves axially (in the direction of water flow) inside the valve chamber, thereby controlling the outlet area of the water flow.

Design features of piston type flow and pressure regulating valve:

1. Unlike butterfly valves or gate valves, the valve plate of piston valves moves axially (in the direction of water flow) along the valve plug (not the valve plate).

The opening or closing device of the piston valve is in the shape of a piston.

The water flow cross-section inside the valve body is a circular structure.

LHS41X-16Q/CFlange flow and pressure regulating piston valveApplication scenarios:

1. It can be used as a discharge valve or an explosion-proof pipe valve in water diversion projects.

2. Water storage can be used as a level or pressure regulating valve.

In pipeline water transmission projects, it can be used as a flow control valve.

4. For water purification or sewage treatment projects, it can be used as a pump start protection valve or a water/air flow control valve.

5. Adjust the pressure balance of pipe network during water supply.

Selection of piston type flow and pressure regulating valve:

The basic requirement for the long-term operation of flow regulating valves is to perform linear flow regulation or stable pressure reduction on the system without vibration, noise, cavitation, or damage to the pipeline. There are four or more types of piston type flow and pressure regulating valves with different outlet forms according to different working conditions. Therefore, the selection process of piston type flow regulator is as follows: first, determine the cavitation level based on the system adjustment parameters, and then determine the outlet form of the piston valve. Based on the Kv series curve of the piston valve with the selected export form, determine the final size of the valve. That is to say, under the premise of long-term stable operation, the structure of the piston type flow and pressure regulating valve is selective, and the performance of the flow regulation index under working conditions cannot be arbitrarily determined. Different forms of flow regulating valves correspond to different levels of cavitation and flow capacities. For a determined system size, arbitrarily setting the adjustment pressure level or flow parameters may result in the valve not working properly. Cavitation refers to the phenomenon where the pressure at the back end of a throttling device drops sharply under the action of throttling, causing the liquid to vaporize. Then, during the process of bubble annihilation, it causes strong impact on the micro surface of the device, resulting in noise, vibration, and corrosion.
