There are three types of body cover connection designs for flanged forged steel gate valves. The first type is the forged steel gate valve connected by the body cover bolt. The valve designed according to this connection form has a bolted connection between the valve body and the valve cover, and a wrapped gasket seal, which has the advantage of being easy to maintain. The second type of body cover welding connection forged steel gate valve is designed according to this connection form. The valve body and valve cover are fully welded and sealed, with the advantage of no external leakage. The third type is a pressure self tightening forged steel gate valve with a valve cover. Valves designed in this connection form have a threaded connection between the valve body and the valve cover, and are sealed with an internal pressure self sealing ring. The advantage is that the higher the internal pressure, the better the sealing performance.
