There are three types of valve cover designs for H61Y forged steel lift check valve. The first type is bolt type valve cover, which is designed in this way. The valve body and valve cover are connected by bolts and nuts, and sealed with wrapped gaskets (made of 316 clip flexible graphite). When customers have special requirements, metal rings can also be used for connection. The second design form is a welded valve cover. According to this design form, the valve body and valve cover are connected by threads and fully welded sealed. When customers have special requirements, full penetration welding can also be used. The third type is the pressure self tightening valve cover. Valves designed in this form have a threaded connection between the valve body and cover, and are sealed with an internal pressure self sealing ring.

There are three different design structures for crown ring check valves, which are lift check valves, ball check valves, and swing check valves.

The design and manufacturing of H61Y forged steel lift check valve comply with MSSP-118 and ASME B16.34. Inspection and testing shall follow API 598, and labeling shall follow MSS-SP-25.
