A、 The function of the bag cage
The main function of the bag cage is to support the filter bag. Good quality bag cages are easy to install and also help extend the service life of filter bags, bringing convenience to transportation, installation, and replacement of filter bags.
B、 Several key technical requirements for bag cages
1. The structure of the bag cage - The structure, size, usage effect, and strength of the bag cage are all related.
1.1 Support ring spacing
The cage frame consists of support rings and longitudinal bars, and the distance between the support rings should be within the range of 150-200mm. It can be evenly distributed within the length of the frame or distributed in rows at both ends of the frame. The diameter of the supporting ring wire should be greater than the diameter of the longitudinal reinforcement wire.
1.2 Longitudinal reinforcement spacing
If the cage frame is used for chemical fiber needle punched felt filter bags, the distance between the longitudinal bars should be ≤ 40mm. If it is used for fiberglass woven fabric filter bags, the distance between the longitudinal bars should be ≤ 20mm
2. The firmness of solder joints
2.1 Welding Point Requirements
All welding points of the filter bag frame should be firmly welded, and there should be no loose welding, virtual welding, or missed welding.
2.2 Solder joint firmness inspection
Fix one end of the circular bag cage frame, twist the other end to 60 degrees and hold for 15 seconds, then relax. The frame can recover normally without any welding detachment. Or use a force gauge to verify that the solder joint does not detach under a tensile force of 250N.

The basic requirement for welding is to achieve the required welding strength without producing harmful burrs, as burrs can damage the filter bag. (Related to welding machine)
4. Surface smoothness
The surface of the filter bag frame in contact with the filter bag should be smooth and clean, without welding scars, unevenness, or burrs.
5. Verticality
5.1 Verticality refers to the perpendicularity between the central axis of the bag cage and the installation reference surface of the bracket on the bag cage. A bag cage with poor verticality not only affects its appearance, but also affects the impact of pulse airflow on filter bags during ventilation and dust cleaning. It may even cause collision and friction between adjacent filter bags, and also bring trouble to the installation and replacement of filter bags. (Related to welding machine). 5.2 Verticality tolerance of filter bag frame.
The verticality tolerance should be taken as a negative tolerance. It should be ≤ 2 ‰ of the frame length, and can be inspected using the "bag cage verticality laser inspection instrument" provided by our company
6. Surface treatment
Conventional surface treatments include electroplating zinc or organic silicon powder coating; According to the different properties of dust and usage environments, there are different requirements for the surface treatment of bag cages, such as temperature resistance, acid resistance, etc. Some places even require the use of 304 and 316L stainless steel bag cages.
