The KCB gear oil pump is suitable for transporting various oils such as heavy oil, diesel, and lubricating oil. KCB type gear oil pump is not suitable for those containing hard particles or fibers, and is suitable for viscosity of 5 * 10-5~1.5 * 103m2/s. The temperature is not high at 70 ℃. If you need to transport high-temperature liquids, please use a high-temperature resistant gear pump, which can transport liquids below 300 ℃.

The KCB type gear oil pump is mainly composed of gears, shafts, pump bodies, safety valves, and shaft end seals. Gears have high hardness and strength after heat treatment, and are installed together with the shaft in a replaceable shaft sleeve for operation. The lubrication of all parts inside the pump is automatically achieved through the use of the output medium during pump operation.
There are well-designed oil discharge and return grooves inside the pump, which minimize the torque force that the gears bear during operation, resulting in low bearing load, minimal wear, and high pump efficiency.
The pump is equipped with a safety valve as overload protection, and the full reflux pressure of the safety valve is 1.5 times the rated discharge pressure of the pump. It can also be adjusted according to actual needs within the allowable discharge pressure range. However, please note that this safety valve cannot be used for long-term operation as a pressure reducing valve. If necessary, it can be installed separately on the pipeline.
When viewed from the extended end of the main shaft towards the pump, it rotates clockwise.

How does KCB type gear oil pump work?
The KCB type gear oil pump is equipped with a pair of rotating gears in the pump body, one active and one passive, which rely on the mutual meshing of the two gears to divide the entire working chamber inside the pump into two independent parts. 1 is the suction chamber, and 2 is the discharge chamber. When the pump is running, the active gear drives the passive gear to rotate. When the teeth shift from meshing to disengagement, a local vacuum is formed on the suction side 3, and the liquid is sucked in. The liquid sucked in fills the various tooth valleys of the gear and is carried to the discharge side. When the gear enters meshing, the liquid is squeezed out, forming high-pressure liquid and discharged outside the pump through the discharge port of the pump.

Before installing the KCB gear oil pump, it is necessary to check whether the pump has been damaged during transportation, such as whether the motor has been affected by moisture, whether the dust covers at the pump inlet and outlet are damaged, and whether dirt has entered the pump chamber.
Before installing the pipeline, the inner wall of the pipeline should be cleaned with clean water or steam. During installation, the weight of the pipeline should be avoided from being borne by the pump, so as not to affect the accuracy and service life of the pump.
KCB type gear oil pump should be located as close as possible to the oil tank; The connection parts of the pipeline must not leak air or liquid, otherwise there may be a phenomenon of not being able to absorb liquid.
To prevent particles, impurities, and other contaminants from entering the pump, a metal filter screen should be installed at the suction port with a filtration accuracy of 30 mesh/in, and the filtration area should be more than three times the cross-sectional area of the inlet pipe.
It is recommended to install vacuum and pressure gauges on the import and export pipelines to monitor the working status of the pump.
When the oil pool is deep, the suction pipeline is long, or the medium viscosity is high, causing excessive vacuum, the inlet pipe can be thickened by one gear. When the oil suction pipeline is long, a bottom valve should also be installed.

Note that the readings of the pressure gauge and vacuum gauge of the KCB gear oil pump should comply with the technical specifications specified for the pump.
When there is abnormal noise or high temperature rise during the operation of the pump, the pump should be stopped immediately for inspection.
In general, safety valves should not be adjusted arbitrarily. If adjustment is necessary, instruments should be used for calibration. Make the cut-off pressure of the safety valve equal to that of the pump
1.5-2 times the rated pressure.
Stop the pump and cut off the power supply.
Close the inlet and outlet pipeline valves.
